I am just here to say that I am SO JEALOUS of your garden - it is my goal to get some kale and collards planted here as well. I have the worm composting bin (and I feed my worms my veggie scraps that have been blended in my Vitamix of course ;-) Now I just have to get my container garden going (all I need is the soil).

If you get a chance, I'd love to see that rice milk recipe that worked for you.

What happened with the almond milk? Do you have a nut milk bag? Let us trouble shoot and we'll get your almond milk tasting better than store bought!!!

Hi LeeAnn and VM groupies,Hellooo everyone, I'm Rhonda from Seattle and my pardner Jim and I are new Vitamix owners, only a couple of weeks. We're having lots of fun and are thinking of getting VM tattoos.We're still in the green smoothie stage (stage 1 of the VM addiction, I think). I have a small (and I mean small) garden and have some kale and collards that I put into our smoothies along with reconstituted seaweed. I make my own yogurt, which goes in there too along with usual suspects, like frozen fruit. Not any surprise ingredients to you VM vets but we are enjoying it immensely.My first try at a good rice/almond milk was a bust, but the recipe that uses rice ground down in the VM and then soaked overnight with the almonds is very good.Thank you LeeAnn for making this group happen, I appreciate your efforts.
