Guest guest
, have you thought of zesting the peel and making sure to eliminate the seeds? They tend to thicken and make bitter recipes that are kept for longer than short periods. Berry Lemonade  I just made the best vitamix lemonade and had to share! I used: approximately 10-12 green grapes (for sweetening) a couple small chunks of fresh pineapple (for sweetening and just because I had it) 1 gala apple approx 1/4 " slice of lemon, peel and all (you could use more or less depending on how tart you want it) about 1/4 cup frozen mixed berries some water and some ice It blended up the most beautiful color and tastes wonderful....a little tart with lemon, a little berry and a little sweet. Yum!! This will be great for a refreshing summer drink.
Guest guest
this sounds absolutely AWESOME! Do you mind if I share this recipe on my FB page? I'll credit you of course! I'll want to make it and try it first - I'll let you know how mine comes out! I like to freeze red grapes and blend them with a touch of water and about a half of a peeled (or a quarter if the rind is left on) lemon. It turns out like a slushy! Guest guest
Lea Ann-- I hope you like the " lemonade " and you're welcome to use the recipe on your FB page. You can probably perfect the ingredient amounts. I just threw the stuff in and it was so good I wanted to share it!! > > this sounds absolutely AWESOME! > > Do you mind if I share this recipe on my FB page? Guest guest
Hi -- I did eliminate the seeds but used the flesh, rind and pith in the lemon slice. I usually drink what I make right away rather than saving it. And I kind of like that sour/tart/bitter taste although some people might not. In that case your suggestion would be perfect! I'm enjoying this group so much! Thanks for the suggestions. > > , have you thought of zesting the peel and making sure to > eliminate the seeds? Guest guest
I am going to try this one. I was just wondering if there was a way to make lemonade. My youngest daughter and I both like lemonade a lot in the summer.
