For us young'uns could you please direct us on finding information on plain film stress views using the Penning method ofassessment for hypermobility?

Yep, it's written into the new imaging section of the Boards Evidence Based Educational Manual we have been developing for some 4 years now.

There was a recent article in the ACA Journal showing go interexaminer reliability performed by some DACBRs.

Matt and colleagues....if there is enough interest I would be willing to give a evidence based presentation and hands on workshop on the Penning method, with all tuition money being written to our political PAC fund "ICE PAC."

We could tie it into other cervical spinal functional stuff such as the AP Open Mouth Odontoid Stress views for determineing possible alar ligament tears. This is done only when the mech of injury and symptoms fit.....Gore's Angle/ measurement for the quality of the cervical lordosis, 's stress lines in flexion and extension etc., etc.

Then have a presentation with Ferrante about the benefits of videofluro and a viewing of the Croft video and how to use it in court etc., etc. and keep it reasonably price.

If there is enough interest I would be more than willing and it would be very helpful to the PAC. BTW the Penning method to assess intersegmental mobility would constitute a method of Provider Driven "Objective" Outcomes Assessment, hint, hint, hint.

Next question, I could do this with a one or two hour hands on workshop....what would be a reasonable cost, understanding you would be writing your checks to "ICE PAC" Not "Vern Retirement Fund!"
