Hi Ayosdi-glad to see you made it to Terry's group-having mail probs

on our other groups so I am a web reader for now...

this depends on how big you want to buy...sweetcakes & brambleberry

have nice Fo's keep your eyes open for independent buys-just ask

others about thier reputations-Rainbow meadows and camden grey are

good EO suppliers-knowing your type of products you are probably

wanting natural items? Columbus oils sells palm and in syracuse the

popcorn supply on Belden ave sells coconut. anything in particular

you are lookin gfor-that would help.

Hi Ayosdi,

First a few questions... how much studying have you done on

soapmaking? Your in the right place to learn, but we need to know

what you already know before we can help you properly. I'm East of

you and only have the car on the weekends, but maybe we could work

something out or do the some soaping via email and or phone. Course I

know I don't have to twist Colleens arm too much for a road trip!

I don't know anything at all about soapmaking.

I do not do well with being 'told' how to do things.

I am more of a hands on person .... :o(

I also have a limited income so can not just go buy what I need.

But would love to meet with anyone who would be willing to help me learn.

Ok :o(

I am lost already ... to me a lot of that is gibberish.

I don't know what anything is or where to get it.

Ayosdi: I suggest you do some reading on the net or borrow a book from the

library about soapmaking. For safety reasons alone, you should understand the

soapmaking process. Then, you will understand what we talk about as far as

different oils, temps, trace, etc. It's hard for us all to sit down and give

you step by step instructions and you can't really do " hands on " experimenting

til you know the basics. I don't want to sound harsh but these are chemicals we

deal with and need to be extremely careful. As far as being on a limited

budget, aren't we all LOL! I suggest getting enough ingredients to do a small

batch using a simple recipe such as an all olive oil soap. This will keep costs

down. HTH
