Guest guest
I do! I do! D. Hi All,Is anyone interested in holding a Monterey Bay Spice Co. Co-op for thegathering? http://www.herbco.com They have a 10% discount on 5lbs and 15%discount on 25lbs of the same item plus free shipping on orders over $200.I wish I could run this myself but I just don't have the space to store it. We should be able to meet the $200 free shipping because I want $57.00worth myself. The NE group is starting to organize a buy from AtlanticSpice but that Co. doesn't carry clays. Last year Deb Z. and I bought atleast $100 each worth of stuff from Atlantic.

Guest guest
Hi Dee, If your really interested in hosting this co-op then you need to make sure you have enough time to devote to doing everything below. There's a lot of time and work involved in this and you need to be positive you can handle it. Things can and will probably go wrong. If your answer is still yes then you should: Post to the list that you'd like to host the co-op making sure to include: A) That a $200+ minimum must be reached before the co-op will happen. Date for the co-op to begin. C) Form of payment you'll be accepting (checks, money orders, credit cards, Pay Pal etc.) D) Date money is due to you by (leave yourself enough time between the due date and order date for late payers because there are always a few). E) Date product will be ordered. F) That you are willing to bring the product to the gathering. Ask everyone who is interested look at the site and to contact you with an approximate order so you can see if a $200+ order is possible. Compile and add up the potential orders making sure to keep track of everyone's name, email address, herbs they want and what quantity. If there is enough people interested in buying $225+ (make sure you have more than $200 in case someone backs out) then post to the list that the co-op is on. Ask for people to commit to the co-op by confirming their orders. What gets tricky is that once you reach the 5lb. mark on an herb the price drops and you have to recalculate the total needed to reach the $200 min for free shipping. After everyone has confirmed, send each person an email of what they ordered, the amount to be paid for each item and a total figure for each participant, the date payment is due and your full name and the address where payment should be sent. Updates of how the co-op is proceeding are very important!! If people are lagging behind in paying, let us know. If all payments are in, let us know. If your ready to place the order, let us know. If the company is out of certain items when the order is placed, let us know. When the order arrives, let us know. I sound like a broken record but this is really important to the participants and helps a co-op go smoothly. Make sure to count every bag of herb delivered against the compiled list you made from each separate order so you'll know whether you were shorted or not before the gathering and then separate each persons order. Lastly bring the stuff to the gathering where we can all examine out purchases and thank you for doing all this hard work for us! Whew, I'm tired! If I left something out I'm sure someone will let you know. lol HTH H. ___________ <<I could if someone tells me what you need to do to run a co-op! I can't wait to meet everybody at the gathering and I thank everyone who is working so hard to make it happen. If there is something else that I can help out on, please don't hesitate to let me know. Guest guest
> Hi All, > Is anyone interested in holding a Monterey Bay Spice Co. Co-op for the I would be interested in the arrowroot & bentonite clay. now...I do bulkn potpourri and have been a loyal customer of Atlantic spice I would have to do price comparison on the botanicals I presently buy in 5lb+ from them. I would be buying over $100 too if they can beat Atlantic's prices. ...Don't forget guys...as Terry and the rest know, I am a supplier too of French Green clay at $4.00 per pound in any size and always on hand I just don't advertise like the big guys-just have it all the time here for my own masks I make.
