Guest guest
hello all. My 6 yr old son has been having accidents in school. #2! he is in first grade and is doing great! He has been potty trained forever! He didn't have this problem last year and he didn't have this problem when school first started this year. this has been going on around three months. It was happening a few times a week when he first started this but it has been times when he didn't have an accident all week. The thing that gets me is he is fine at home in public or over anyone home. this is just happening in school. He is reading and writing now and he wasn't doing this in the beginning of the year. I was wondering if he is just into his work and waits too long to ask to use the bathroom. Maybe he realizes he has to use the bathroom as soon as he feel something coming out. at home he isn't in thought so maybe this is why it isn't happening at home? I have had talks with him to tell him as soon as he have to go then stop doing his work, ask to go to the bathroom, and come back and finish his work. any suggestions on what is going on? The thing that concerns me is he is only having accidents in school.I could see if he does it at home or when we are out. thanks in advance. >From: linman42@... >jrob12999@..., >Subject: Re: I Need Some Advice or Help >Date: Tue, 11 Mar 2003 22:47:41 EST > >Jon, >Basically, you have to say as a parent, the funding should not be cut >because >of the benefits gets - from EI, case management, and whatever >services he receives.
