Listmates:

I'm looking for some <recent> information on L5 Spondys.....

the last literature search I did seemed to confirm there remains two

distinct opinions:

1) "Most these are congenital or developmental";

2) "Most of these are resulting from trauma both known and unknown"......

is anyone up to making a couple of relevant remarks (sorry to constrain you so, Dr ) to clarify current academic thoughts on this subject?

Jack,

I could spout off the top of my head but wouldn't feel good about it. I refer you to Dr. Terry Yochum's text on skeletal radiology. He and I have discussed spondy some years ago and I understand at one time he was one of the most read on the subject around. If you don't have a copy of his text I can send you the info. Let me know. Steve Lumsden
