I'm in Cohoes, NY ~ it's just outside Albany ~ I don't think that we're *too* far from each other. That's neat!!! I am a melt-and-pour soaper. My husband and I just moved to NY, in fact ~ last year after getting married. We're both originally from Indiana. As far as hot new things in soapmaking, I've heard that ginger lime FO (anything with ginger, really) is really popular now ~ I ordered some from Brambleberry before the holidays, and I really love it.
