She will accept one after having her blood >drawn, but won't move her arm until it is removed later. > will not tolerate band-aids AT ALL. The first thing she says after getting a bump, scrape or cut is " I don't need a band-aid " (even if she is bleeding all over :-) After a blood draw (which is no picnic, of course), she turns into an absolute tiger when they try and put that gauze and tape on her arm...... After they finally succeed (and they always do) I carry her outside (screaming) where we sit on the bench for a few minutes until I think it's OK, then I take that evil bandage off, and then she is fine (except for the red face and snotty nose from crying, little red broken blood vessel spots from screaming, tangled ponytails from fighting the techs, and of course, glasses that you can't see through from all the tears and snot)..... I guess fine is a relative term :-) , mom to (7), (5 DS), and (3) > >
Guest guest
Oh Kathy, Kaitlyn is so much like . She also looks down when she is walking and the sassy mocking! It drives me nutty. She thinks that she should have the last word. She's crazy about fingernail polish. I have some in places I don't want it due to her liberal application techniques. Then there's the Brady Bunch thing! What a hoot. Darcy Re: Some common oddities our kids share HI Sara's oddity at least in my house is she is a neat freak ............ everything has a place and she goes nuts when her nephew dumps out the toy box to play. She complains that her daddy is messy and will pick up after him. Sara has a fear of falling, she looks down when she walks ..... why she runs into folks at the store lol she only tolerate a Band-Aids for a short time and has to watch all medical procedures ......... shots in the rear send her into a fit. If Sara is annoyed with you she will mock what you say in an awful tone while making a face ........ I'll laugh at her and this breaks the mood she's in lol Sara's gotten real good at recognizing the time and when her favorite shows come on ..... here Brady Bunch comes on at 7pm and she makes me watch it with her. She doesn't realize Ive seen every episode lol She loves fingernail polish but by the end of the day she's chewed it all off. Sara can recognize everyone's voice on the phone, even the ones trying to disguise it. She hates yelling and the one yelling loudest is always the one wrong ............ she loves to mediate Kathy mom to Sara

Guest guest
Oh my, Noah LOVES band aids! He calls them " Tibbies " I have no idea where that came from. I buy the cheapest ones available, as he can go through a box in no time! He also acts like he has a cast on if there is a band aid anywhere on his entire arm...holds it up like it's totally useless! He just got his " Amtryke " and the hand pedals made his shoulder muscles sore. I only know this because he asked me to 'kiss' a spot where there was no " wound " and then came out a few minutes later with a band aid on it!
