Guest guest Posted December 29, 2002 Report Share Posted December 29, 2002 Hi, As some of you know, my husband and I are in the process of adopting a baby with down syndrome. Things were moving along so smoothly, and they are still moving along, but we feel we have hit some snags in the road. I was just wondering if those who have adopted could email privately or to the group about how their adoption process went. It is just such an emotional and trying time. We both have a very strong Faith, but it is still hard not to get upset, feel down, get discouraged, etc...We are supposed to have an opportunity to meet the birth mom by Tuesday, and the baby may be released this Friday.
