Guest guest
Hi Terry, I live between Buffalo and Niagara Falls (North Tonawanda) and we have about 2 1/2 ft. of the disgusting white stuff in our yard. I don't care for this weather at all!! My DH keeps reading the weather report for Orlando every morning (we go to Disney every March) and I'm ready today. Was a good day to stay in and make soap but I had my first CP failure today. A tried and true recipe. All the oil separated. I'm going to leave it in the mold until morning and probably throw it out then. A very disappointing event. I did do another batch with 50% olive oil that looks great. Who had the green grass showing? Wasn't it just a week and a half ago that we had temps in the 50's? Oh well, the days are getting longer again so we know things will get better. I mostly lurk and learn. Between working full time and trying to make and sell soap I keep busy. DH says it keeps me off the street and out of the bingo halls. I enjoy all of the posts and would like to get more involved but I usually check the lists after work and then I just want to go to bed. Hoping to chat again soon, Jeanine
Guest guest
Sorry to hear about the soap failure, Jeanine! Why don't you rebatch it, though? I have a batch that did that today, and it's in the crock pot right now, becoming HP. :-> - Ela (000)___(000) Ela Heyn / @ @ \ ferret@... | | ======@====== http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/5483
