After talking with several people in this area, we've decided the best way to

handle the comments made about Karrie in the newspaper would be best handled by

flooding the reporter and/or newspaper with letters and/or calls.

Anyone have any input as to if they think this is the best way to handle the

situation?

Sue,

in my sometimes flawed human opinion,

I wouldn't offer anything unless asked. Should the need arise (for your

vindication or that of your children...) that you do need to be asked then

have someone anonymously leak to the reporter covering the story that the

schmuck's* ex-wife has information which contradicts the shcmuck's story.

When asked for a quote, say something like my recollection of the events

differ's from that of the schmuck's . Although he'll still view it as

betrayal, it will not be an outright betrayal. At the same time it will

tell the reporter that they need to follow up on this lead and they will

explore alternative sources which can illuminate their path to enlightenment

about the aforementioned schmuck. ;-)

*please substitute the schmuck's real name for the word schmuck wherever

necessary.
