Unfortunately Leigh is still in a coma :-( I will keep you informed. Love Aisha. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It is feels great being able to email you again. Hello! I have had my last surgery on my arm until a few months from now. I can now move all my fingers, but my fingers still do not have much strength. That is due to all the surgeries and from the injuries too. In a few months I'll have another surgery and if my fingers do not regain their strength afterwards then I'll have to have another type of surgery. Saturday I left the hospital. A cousin from Leigh's side had a wedding. I told the doctors that I am leaving and am going to the wedding. I did. They wanted me to stay another two days because of the surgery. I left the hospital early in the morning and went to her parent's house. I found out that their house was flooded again. They had a flash flood behind the house and water came into four rooms. Her parent's had been up for 24 hours trying to get the water out in time. I felt so sorry for them. After sending 24 hours of hard labor, stress, and no sleep for over 24 hours, they got ready and attended to the wedding. They did not just attend, they stayed afterwards to help clean up. They did not come back home until 3 in the morning. Leigh is so lucky to have such a strong family. The wedding was beautiful. Most of the time I was remembering my own. I did not even hear their vows because I was remembering Leigh and my vows. I can still feel the feeling that I had on my wedding day. A feeling that can not be expressed in words. Her cousin was the bride and her cousin looked beautiful, but Leigh looked more beautiful. The reception was wonderful too. Her family sees me as part of the family and we got along as if I have known them for ages. I had fun. That night, her family taught me that it is okay to worry, but you can still have fun and be with your friends and family as you worry. All of us were worried about Leigh. A few of her aunts, uncles, and cousins almost cried, but all of them still had fun. She has such a big family! I have been told that she has 26 cousins and 16 second cousins. She has cousins that are older then her father. I stayed at the wedding until almost every one was gone. I spent the next day at her parent's. I rested the next day and almost locked the doors, so my mother would not stop by every few hours to check on me! Yesterday, I had a surprise and the hospital did too. I was about to leave Leigh to go back home to rest when a nurse rushed in. She said that there was at least forty people in the waiting room. All forty were claiming that they were here to see Leigh. It was her old school. The school she graduated from in June. Her school is a small school of fifty students and about ten staff members. The principal had allowed all the student's to drive their selves to the hospital to see Leigh. The principal considered it an important field trip. They spent hours with Leigh. I met some of her closer friends and they are just like Leigh. Pain in the ***. Most of her friends are male and every one of them are very protective of Leigh. At our wedding we had a private conversation about what would happen to me if I harmed her in any way. One of them had been in boot camp and just got back, so he was unable to attend the wedding. So all of them, around twenty, had to redo the conversation. I just shook their hands. After that, they acted as if the conversation never happened. It was very strange having that many people there at once. For hours, they told me stories about what Leigh and they had done. Stories that made me laugh and even be shocked. The babies are in the same hospital with Leigh, so I allowed them to see the babies. I only let her close friends see them face to face though (i did this without letting the others know). They started telling the babies about hunting and fishing. They said that they will have to get Alaria a pink knife to skin the fish. After they left I realized that all of my children are going to be country kids. My girls are going to be tomboys. I was about ten years old the first time I set foot in the country. My kids are going to know how to ride horses by the time they know how to walk! I can just see the kids walking in the house after cleaning the horse stables with straw and mud all over their cloths. Good news, the babies are doing very good. They might be able to leave the hospital in a few weeks. Leigh has not waken up. She still moves like she did the first time. She smiled a lot when her friends were here. Her sugar is normal, but her blood pressure is still low. I know for sure that she can hear every word that someone speaks to her! She had signed up and payed for her college classes before the accident. I called the college and cancelled everything. I called them at the hospital. When I was finished, I planned to get some rest so I gave her a kiss. I next thing I knew, she smacked me. When I looked at her, she had an angry look. I laughed so hard. I knew she was angry because I cancelled her college. She did not smack me hard, she does not have the strength for that, but I was still amazed and shocked from it. I missed emailing that I do not think I left any small detail out. Sorry I had not emailed sooner. I have been trying to get a lot of rest. My family hopes all of you are doing good. Keep a smile on your face. We miss you. Love, , Leigh, Xavier, Blaize, and Alaira The Being Sick Community Visual problems with colors?
