Guest guest
Since it's so quiet on the list I figured I'd start babbling about what I've done this week. If you aren't interested, I'll forwarn you now, it's hardly been soap related! Sunday night I figured out wholesale info, typed it all up, and emailed it to the person who had requested it. Still no answer back. Figure I'll give him a couple more days before sending a follow up email. left for Sullivan County Sunday afternoon for work. That leaves me to deal with the kids all alone. It's actually getting to be more stressful when he is home than when he isn't, but don't anyone tell him that! Monday-What a day! Had the daycare kids until about 3pm. Since it was raining Zachary didn't have soccer practice. Being the great mom that I am (yeah right!) I took him to sign up to be a Tiger Scout. That little meeting lasted about 1 1/2 hours. I had with me & she was starting to get antsy about 1/2 hour into it. Anyone want to buy some Boy Scout popcorn? This stuff is expensive! Can't wait until is old enough to join Girl Scouts, I'd rather have the cookies!!! After that I made my dutiful wife call to dh who said I didn't have to call him the rest of the week if I didn't want to. Fine, cause I can find other stuff to occupy my time with! Then I called Terri cause she had called much earlier in the day! Today I dealt with those wonderful kids again! I say wonderful in a very sarcastic tone of voice. I watch an almost 6yr. old who thinks that just because she's the baby of the house at home (she has an almost 8yr. old & 11yr. old sisters) that she has to be the baby at my house. She absolutely does everything in her power to annoy me when I am feeding the baby (8month old) or rocking her to sleep. Her father wants a note on every little thing she does wrong because he's had it with her attitude. Where was he last year when I did send notes home everyday & called him to get suggestions on stopping her behavior? Well now I've learned to pretty much ignore her so he can forget his notes! I've already warned him that I've got a 2month old baby starting next week so she's really gonna have to get herself in check before that. I'm sure it'll be a fiasco! I made some flash cards for Zachary with all his sight words for school. This way he can use them to study & play matching games. He'll even be able to take the cards and make sentences out of them. Good practice for him. I'm sure he won't appreciate it too much. He hates having to do homework! I did manage to make a batch of Vanilla lotion bars and Go Nuts soap (almond and hazelnut combo) tonight! Terri-I did try the measuring of the ingreds. for the lotion bars, didn't really notice a difference in them. Oh yeah, and I've managed to spend quit a bit on supplies! Thanks goodness for credit cards! I've got everything for the rest of the season, hopefully anyway! And I watched the season premier of JAG tonight. Glad to see Mick go back to Australia, and waiting ever so patiently for them to get & Harm together! Have a good night everyone!
