Hey new here, Just figuring out I deal with this stuff too.. Anyway, I havnt

gotten too much figured out on this yet. Been reading the list for a few

days, quite a few google searches and so on.

I have questions concerning

diet, (there seems to be a ton of them all with a price tag included)

food Allergies? (many talk about this, just curious...)

best way to kill Candida? (plans? things that have been effective etc...)

and any other info you may have

thanks

I’ve been

researching this for six years. I

am always learning more. Try this

link http://www.health-truth.com/patients-speakout-04.asp

Go to the patient login password (which is 1956 – hope I don’t get in trouble

for this). He has a lot of great

information on this website. Read

it all. He does talk about food

allergies here as well. To find

the “caveman diet,” scroll down to the bottom of the candida page. I did try his protocol a couple of

years ago and did get some relief, but not enough. Doesn’t mean it wouldn’t work for you. There are many other websites as well.

Everyone

is different. Everyone has

different issues, and everyone will react differently to different courses of

action.

There are

a lot of different opinions on the diet.

You’ll have to do your own research.

Good

luck. Knowledge is everything.

Good Evening Everyone,

Got back a couple of hours ago from our Pittsburgh meeting at Station Square.

It was a pleasure to meet you both---Kathie and ! I had a really nice time

and it was very informational at the same time. Sorry you couldn't make it

Dawn.

Maybe next time some of us can exchange our cell numbers and or contact me for

directions. I am pretty good with getting around Pittsburgh. We did have a

road block when we got to Station Square and had to head into town, but made a

big square, I was back on track. Last we had heard Dawn you were at PNC Park.

You were just over the West End bridge which connects to the road that Station

Square is on---East Carson Street. Next time maybe we can meet at Town

Center or in the south hills of Pittsburgh.

Kathie, I am going to need some info on that vacation.

Take care and talk to all of you again.

Re: I have just joined this group

Wow! I am so glad, so very glad to hear the responses on my posts! Thank you one and all! I especially felt relief when I read that one person felt much better after regurgitating because food and liquids just weren't going down and throwing it up and out worked. I've done that with coffee and sodas recently. They just stayed in my mid-throat, possibly hovering over that last little tidbit of solid food that also would not go down.

Jeez, but this is so weird! I tell friends that I am having esophageal problems and although they are sympathetic, they really don't have an idea of what the heck I'm talking about. But you guys do!

So I'll be reading the rec'd readings and I'll think about options, too. This week I'll see my gastro. guy over at Cedars-Sinai to discuss what to do. And you know what? I think I'll tell you guys what we discussed so that I can get your responses. And I do see that not all achalasians are the same, that the problems vary.

Thanks, Deborah in Pacific Palisades, CA.

And I would love to talk to that lady in Long Beach by telephone, if that's possible.

Oh, Deborah,

For some reason I knew you were in LA area.

My phone is 562 494 6760.

I will be home most of today, I think.... I sell real estate and my

son has an ear infection, so I'm fitting a doctor's visit in.

I went to Cedars. Which GI? I had Dr. Ippoliti, then Dr. Fuller for

surgery.

Peggy, is seeing Dr. Fuller today for last visit before surgery on

August 8.

Have to get my daughter to her summer day camp, then my son to the

doctor, so call anytime after 11 or so.

Sandy in Long Beach.
