Clarification of list rules

Before anyone thinks I'm in the archives deleting messages left and

right let me clear a few things up.

Colleen and I both talked on the phone this morning agreed on the post I

sent earlier today " Friendly Reminder " before I sent it to the list

I have deleted 2 messages today and they are the only messages I have

ever deleted. These messages were in reference to other soap makers

locally and I did not want these soap makers joining the list and seeing

we were talking bad or negative about them. This just can not be done

here. For all we know these other soap makers could be lurkers here or

future members and we need to remain a welcoming and friendly list to

all... be it newbie or seasoned soap maker.

Yes the posts are your responsibility, but I too have a responsibility

to existing and future members to see to it that they are treated fairly

here and that they are not ripped apart before they have a chance to

even get started.

All Colleen and I ask is that you post responsibly... read your post

before you send it and read like those words are aimed at you. Put

yourself on the receiving end or as a person just joining the list and

reading back through the archives.

Please feel free to talk about this on list if you would like
