Guest guest
These are the emails I'd saved about dendritic salts. BTW, the word is " Dendritic " . I'm not sure if there is such a thing as " dentric " salt; that might be where part of the confusion you are getting is coming from .... From emporiumnaturals@... It's exactly the same thing with a fancy name. Guest guest
Hmm well From Nature w Love is in NYC, but unfortunatly its very hard to get away from paying some shipping unless you are lucky enough to be in driving distance, and then you may have sales tax if you dont have a tax id #. Shipping costs sure are a bummer eh? Shaye -----Original Message-----From: itspatti5@... Guest guest
Ok just a thought here and I'll look into it locally on Monday (I have connections lol) How about a place that sells water softener products? They might be able to get it for you. Look in your yellow pages for companys that specialize only in water softeners or conditioners... not places like Sears or Joe Plumber.... we have a place here that only does water conditioning... I'll see what Mike over there can tell me about it... he's small enough and for a link to his website maybe he'll carry it locally for us! Guest guest
Most places have never even HEARD of dendritic, unfortunately. I called my very-reliable chemical supplier and I immediately got a " huh? " LOL He called me back three days later and said the only way he would be able to get it would be to have me buy an entire skid of it ---which is over a ton. It couldn't hurt to call a softener place, but dendritc isn't used for that, so I'd hazard a guess that they wouldn't be able to obtain it either -- unless people want to go in on a huuuuuge amount. maryg > Ok just a thought here and I'll look into it locally on Monday (I have > connections lol) > How about a place that sells water softener products? Guest guest
Dendritic salt is usually a food ingredient. If you call a place that sells spices, they should have it. I found an online spice place once that uses it in their mixes, and was willing to sell me some at an excellent place. I think it was www.thespicehouse.com, or www.spicehouse.com. One of the URLs is a porno. place (or used to be, anyway), and the other place sells cooking spices. - Ela (000)___(000) Ela Heyn / @ @ \ ferret@... | | ======@====== http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/5483
Guest guest
I dont know how true this is but someone on another list had once said that dendritic salt is the same thing as the mortons kosher salt that can be found in the grocery stores. On the Morton website they do say that the kosher salt has an anticlumping (technical term ) agent in it... Sooo could be??? Im not sure. Guest guest
The email I posted earlier this week explained the chemical composition of kosher salt and dendritic salt, though, and why they are not the same. I'd just always assumed it was accurate. - Ela (000)___(000) Ela Heyn / @ @ \ ferret@... | | ======@====== http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/5483

Guest guest
This guy is a personal friend for over 20 years.... he's small town like I am... if a friend needs something he can get it. He was out of town when I called today and he won't be back until Wed. Im sure he has enough connections he can get it. Dendritic salt isn't used for softening water or conditioning it, but it is a salt and what do do these companys know best?? Salt! I'm getting my solar salts for him for less than 5 bucks for 80lbs. His cost. Terri
