Hey Everybody,

Since is getting her gizmo on Monday, I

think maybe it would be a good thing if we pooled

our vast experience (I'm not being funny here)

with her. When I came into the group, I was three

months gone after my installation, and I wish I

had found you all sooner. I had a lot of

questions answered and got a hell of a lot of

great info and advice, which I can never be

thankful enough for. Since I had trouble with my

incision, I emailed about that. Bob, was it you

who told me about the aloe? Okay, I'm done...what

ya'll think?

hi becca,,

it could have been,, i use aloe on sore muscles all the time....

as far as advice for linda.....just do what the heart doc and the e.p. tell

you do... i behaved for a few months after my implant, but ive been a bad

boy lately.

they removed all restrictions on me, except for using a chain saw< and that

stinks cause now i have to buy my firewood for the winter instead of

cutting my own....

the doc even told me to go play tennis if i wanted to...picture a 350

pounder with chf that cant get to the end of the driveway without taking a

rest......

just hang in there linda,,,,everybody in this group has something good to

say to help you..

, just wanted to let you know that we will all be thinking of you on Monday...

I know you are frightened....thats normal, just rely on your family--it sounds like you have a wonderful Son.....and don't keep those feelings to yourself...there is always strength in numbers!

I don't know if you are a religeous person but prayer is a great source of comfort.....poor your heart out.....

Once again you are in my thoughts and prayers!

hi Bob,

Thank you for answering my questions. I am sooo scared about Monday's

operation. Our family has been through sooo much the last 13 years, so this

is just another hurdle. I love being in this group.

Thanks for my z friends,

,

Sugar, you are gonna be fine. I know, as we all

do, that you are scared out of your wits. I'm

still scared to death. I damn near didn't go to

my echocardiogram appointment this morning

because I can be so frightened of just doing that

sort of thing. And the echo is probably the least

big deal of all of it. Geo took me out for a

celebratory piece of fried chicken and devilled

eggs afterwards. Only time I eat fried chicken

now. I don't think any of us have gotten used to

the Internal Alien. I know I'm not. It's always

THERE, like some toad on your shoulder, but my

reasoning is that well, if I shoot the big one,

like I did in Feb, Geo might not be there with

the CPR thing, and I will be grateful for the

shock. I had the bejeeesus scared good out of me

and I just cannot imagine messing with that again

or putting him through it either. I was surprised

how lovely the hosp folks were to me too. They

were all great. And lean on that boy of yours! He

can take it. Well, I said my peace. You'll be

home in no time.

, thank you for your sweet emails. I am a very religious person. I was saved when I was 9 and through the years I have always loved the Lord, but in 1988 when my husband had brain surgery and everything went bad and I lost my mother, I nearly died in 95 and my dad died 3 weeks ago, I can tell you I am so scared for those that don't know the Lord. I can't begin to tell you the miracles that have happened, and how faithful he is!! I believe that prayers can move mountains.

God Bless You,
