Guest guest
As mother of 4 sons & stepmother to 3 sons, they were always bringing home something. We had raccoons, possums, wild geese, rabbits, turtles & the usual stray cats & dogs. We had a Redbone coon hound that would sleep with the raccoons. Shoulda been a zoo keeper instead of a mom. My husband and i had a rather interesting conversation/debate about weather or not animals have emotions. I would love to know what ya'll think about it. " ABSOLUTELY!!!! Our animals all have unique personalities, and are sensitive emotionally to different needs and issues. Even all the different fish we have had all had their own personalitiy (especially Larry the Game Show Host Fish... lol... well he looked like a game show host!!) Earl would get depressed if no one poked him or talked to him (he was a black bug eyed gold fish) so even the fish had personas. Its my opinion that they breathe and think therefore feel (as in emotional feel.) I am sure many here agree. I'd be lost without my animals. Love A. ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com
Guest guest
Several years ago, we had to put our black lab to sleep, our other dog (the one that died recently) became very withdrawn. He slepted all day and would leave if someone tried to pet him. We got another black lab and he became like a puppy. He was not withdrawn, he was frisky. When that dog died recently, our other black lab reacted. My brother wrapped a towel around our dog and laid him on the couch as he waited until our mother came home. Our black lab laid next to him, sniffed him, then went off. He hid. He hid under the kitchen table and did not come out until a few hours later. Since then, our black lab's face expressions look rather sad sometimes. Animals have emotions and personalities. Every living form does. That is my opinion. leigh --- Aisha Elderwyn <aisha@...> wrote: > " Speaking of cats. My husband and i had a rather > interesting > conversation/debate about weather or not animals > have emotions.
