Thank you Terri! What a great idea! I remember the lip gloss days too. I

couldn't imagine wearing heavy castor oil on my lips now. I agree...pleh!

How do you make your glitter gel? My daughter asked if we could find the

lipstick type containers that have the little button on the side that you

slide up to slide the stick up. I'm not sure how these would even work with

lip balm but has anybody seen these anywhere? They're popular with the

girls.

Thanks Ela! :-) That's what she said too. Guess I should just stay out of

her way and let her handle this. She's on the right track.

The glitter gels are easy.... aloe gel and glitter... I get the glitter

from the craft store. just make sure it's not the old fashioned type...

get the kind thats in the glass tubes. It's non-toxic and contains no

metal ... metal and aloe gel = rust! lol I mix mine in a coffee cup or

small bow and use a baby medicine dropper to put it in the lip pots.

Hope this helps

How about a slumber party kit with clay facial masks, dollar store hair rollers & nail polish, and microwave popcorn etc. all in a $1 store bowel suitable for the popcorn! Oh...and glycerine would be great for lip gloss as it is sweet! Oh great...here comes the nightly "stink" of the local farm's over the hill....I will shortly light the candles to help hide it!

Oh Deb this is a great idea!

I grew up on a dairy farm and vowed never again! We couldn't even

open our windows in the spring!

No, not right now I'm not but hope to in the future. I grow my own

Calendula, Comfrey and Roman Chamomile. I'm on the look out right now for

Chickweed and Jewelweed growing wild but haven't had any luck even though I

hear people complain all the time about it being out of control. Maybe it's

right under my nose and I'm missing it. I need a good day (not too hot!)

when I can go on a hunt. Are you growing herbs for your products?
