Sharon and Dan,

Thanks for the advice. I'd forgotten about the saline spray/irrigations.

Quercitin, huh? Okey dokey, sounds good. Thanks again...

One of the most helpful remedies that I have run accross is " J's Nose

Drops. " This is a natural therapy for sinusitis. I am home now and the

address is at the office--will post tomorrow eve. Silver

proteinate(Argerol) on orange sticks shoved back to the post nasopharynx,

patient prone over a bowl, also works but is messy. J's is it as far as I

know. Steve Lumsden

Thanks Les...Do you make the colloidal silver yourself with one of those

generators or is it available commercially?

Nasophiliacs,

Thanks Les for the colloidal silver recipe--great alternative to

antibiotics. The J's that I recently mentioned has worked for a great many

chronic sinusitis sufferers. One can purchase the drops at:

A Testimonial...

Once upon a time I had a cold...

I recovered...

About 4 weeks later I got a bad tooth ache, it felt like I had a piece of

steak jammed between my molars I flossed and brushed and brushed and

flossed...no steak!

I was due to go to a Chiropractic seminar in Seattle I'm from Bend...

Friday, I called the dentist... he was out of town, I frantically called

around for an emergency appointment... translation: I was really concerned

about my tooth, did not want to go to seminar like this, got an appointment.

Dentist " banged " on my teeth, prodded my gums, took an x-ray...no problem

with the teeth...did you have a cold recently? Maybe its a sinus

infection...Go see the M.D. get some antibiotics...

Thanks, but no thanks, my teeth are ok? yeah.

Saturday, up at 5 a.m., drive to seminar, sit all day: noon to 8 p.m. still

miserable. After the session have a beer and " potato skins " for " dinner " in

the hotel bar...

Sunday, seminar 8 to noon, not having fun, still hurting, exhausted, blowing

my nose all the while...I've got to get adjusted before I leave for the 5-6

hour drive back...

After the seminar I ask the instructor, on, D.C., for an

adjustment...

He gives me a cervical manipulation: rotary break to the left and then to

the right, I thought my neck was going to break, he followed this with an

adjustment...

I get in the car, every 10-15 minutes between Seattle and Portland I'm

spitting copious amounts of you know what...by the time I exit I-84 to head

south to Bend a full week of congestion is gone, toothache gone, fatigue

gone...

The power of potato skins, beer and the chiropractic adjustment!!! Thanks

...

Thanks for letting me share my first personal chiropractic 'miracle'...

What you say is exciting. It seems to me that such a rapid and dramatic

response to what would be called a visceral condition is uncommon. I have

seen it happen periodically, one case I recall is of a woman who has severe

allergies. In fact, walnuts will kill her. Had these allergies her whole

life and came to me for a bad neck. During the history she related that her

medications were not working much anymore, the allergist was frustrated as

he was out of ideas. Well, I went ahead and treated her subluxations(like

the entire neck was locked) and she returned a couple of days later to

report that upon leaving my office that mucus began to come out of every

orifice in her head as she put it, and that her meds were working better. I

still treat her monthly after 15 years. I am sure we all have experiences

like this. I just wish we'd do more case studies and have them published.

It's an area of professional marketing and responsibility that we need to

jump on. It would also be nice to be able to have a bit more ability to

predict an outcome with visceral conditions too. Steve Lumsden

No, not really. Even though testimonials are powerful marketing, I think

these cases need to be communicated in a less " carnivalish " fashion. Such

as a properly done, published in a indexed journal-type of effort. Steve
