Guest guest
Hey guys! Just thought I'd take a break from work and catch up on my e-mails. Deb in Pennsylvania, it was really nice meeting you, and I'm glad that you enjoyed your A.C. gift card. We're using your "Summer Sorbet" soap right now in our bathroom -- it's fantastic! Thank you so much! It lathers really well and makes our bathroom smell great! It's such a wonderful summery scent. >>nne.... I would have never known you've only been making soap for a short time. I am in love with the chunky soap. I admire anyone who can make anything with M & P... I am M & P challenged! lol<< That's so sweet of you, Terri. Thank you. I'm so glad that you are enjoying your soap! It was fun to make! I am still such a newbie and a learner -- but you never stop learning, right? hehe :-) You are all such talented women, and I am learning a lot from you. Maybe someone who is pretty experienced with M & P could do a demonstration at our next gathering -- that would be fun! >>nne and I got to know each other well sharing the drive up and back. It really made the time on the road fly by fast. We even stopped at Turning Stone Casino on the way home for a short time. Just long enough to put $10 in the slot machines and show nne how to lose money. (hehe) It was her very first time being inside a casino. We played some Keno (like the Lottery) on the slots. We weren't very lucky, but it was fun anyways.<< You're right, it was so much fun! Thank you for showing it to me! You were great company and it really did make the drive go by more quickly. Have you ever tried playing the games on www.pogo.com? They have Keno and blackjack and other games like that -- not like the real thing, but it's fun nevertheless! I guess I didn't have beginner's luck, but that just means that I'll have to go back and try again. hehe :-) We're going with some friends to Atlantic City in August, so who knows what kind of luck I'll have then! haha Deb S., would you mind if I profile you next for our Web site? G. recommended you. :-) I have your e-mail address -- just let me know if this is OK with you! >>I like rubberstamping<< Dee, so do I! I love to rubber stamp! What kinds of stamping do you do? I would love to integrate my stamping with my soaping somehow. I've seen how you can rubber stamp bars of soap, but I feel like that would tear up my stamps, and I'm not so sure about it. Have a great day, guys! Back to work, yuck!nne :-)
Guest guest
nne- I have to agree with Terri, your chunky soap was awesome! We were actually talking about it after everyone left. You have lots of talent! " Maybe someone who is pretty experienced with M & P could do a demonstration at our next gathering -- that would be fun! " Terri & I had that same idea for this gathering-but G wouldn't play along! Maybe next year M would be willing to demo her bars with the seeds. Those were really pretty! Guest guest
I don't know about me doing a "demo". I hate doing things in front of people. I think it would be pretty boring for most people anyways. But thanks for the compliments on my oatmeal and fruit bars. They have become my best seller in the few weeks that I've been making them. I had a girl chase me down in WalMart last week to order (6) bars all for herself. That made me feel real good!! And today when I went into the ladies' shop that carries my things, a woman that works there just raved about how she loved the soap and was not going to share it with her family. (hehe) She said she has real hard water in the country where she lives and has never had any soap lather up like mine did. It feels so good when people let you know how much they like your products, you know? M Re: Various topics ... nne-I have to agree with Terri, your chunky soap was awesome!
