Greetings everyone!

I just spoke with (RN) son, up in Michigan. She's coordinating that wonderful conference for young ICD recipients this weekend at the Marriott Resort in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Wow... I wish I could make the trek north, because it sounds like it will be a GREAT program.

For others of you unable to attend Young ICD Connection 2001, be sure to check out our November feature article which will focus on the event.

We also hope to hear from some of those who just completed the annual ICD cruise.

In the news this week... the really HUGE story deals with advances in stem cell research. One of those specifically with treating arrhthmia. It is all very encouraging.

So far, participation in our Halloween contest has been disappointing. If you want to join the haunting... send us a picture of you in disguise and we will put it online this weekend. Then everyone can guess who is behind the grease paint and plastic noses.

That's all for now. Stay well!
