Guest guest
Hi all, I just received my latest issue of Popular Science. In it, they explain a program being launched by the University of Oxford researchers to help find a cure for cancer. For those of you familiar with the SETI program it is much the same thing. For those of you that are not familiar it works like this: You download a small program which communicates with a central computer in Texas. It gives your computer a series of molecules and proteins to compare. Your computer logs the matches and sends the data back to the computer in Texas. You can set the program to work only as a screen saver if you want, so it will not interrupt your normal work. This allows the researchers to crunch huge amounts of data very quickly. If you want to participate, or want more information, then surf over to the link I have provided. Yours in health, Terreri, DC
