Everyone is so kind and understanding .Guess we can all relate. I'm glad you are doing good . Did they put you out when they done your epideral? This new Dr. I am going to ssays he want have to put me out . Whicyh scares me. He says there is very little pain. I am like you we are kinda in there mercy. who knows what they do? Yes I think they help my pain also. After I get everything else under control I'll have them done again. Dreading this colonoscomy, but i am bleeding so they have to see why. They took me offf the Difolenac Sodium and it has stopped but they still want me to have it checked, I have had pollupes before. Hope your days keep geteting better. Warm hugs to you. Oh no we havent had any rain here either. Seems like everyone else is getting it. Kathy in Fl Howdy Kathy, Just a little update. I had the second epidural in the series of 3 today. Boy, what a difference a week makes. I think that a lot of how it affects you depends on the doctor performing the procedure. I had a new anesthesiologist today and she injected the steroids slowly, NO PAIN, just the slightest of pressure. The anesthesiologist that I had last week probably uses a hammer to put his patients under! Today, she told me that if I has having too much pressure, she would inject slower yet......Go figure! This evening hasn't been too bad, a little nausea and no headache. They put my injections into my back, not the tailbone. She told me today that the placement today could not have been more perfect, kinda makes me wonder where and how he put the injection last week. Ya know, we are at a disadvantage cuz they are working on our backside so I have to rely on the doctor and nurses play by play as to how things are going on. In fact, it took them 4 tries and more time to get the IV in than the actual procedure. Right now, the site is still a little tender, but to be expected. It is too soon to know if I will have any relief from the injection itself, it usually takes me about 24-48 hours on the second injection to see if this was a good idea or not. I still believe in them because of the relief that I got from the first series, I just hope that I have the same response this time around. Did you get much rain today? All we got was a lot of thunder. We are terribly parched down here. I shouldn't say that too loud for fear of a hurricane or tropical storm.......tis the season!!!! LOL...... The only thing I love about this RA, etc is having this board to have friends that will listen to you vent and help you with disease management more than any other doctor I have ever met......Take care of YOU and let me know what you decide and how it is going. Gentle, tender, back to back, angel hugs, Deb

Guest guest
Kathy, I don't care how anyone spells. Between pain and pain meds, fibro fog, sleepless nights, and hard to spell medical terms, it's not easy writing email. I'm glad you found us and hope that everything is ok with your scope. a Re: [ ] Re: Epidurals-DEb fr Kathy-FL Its me again Kathy guess you can see I must have been half asleep when I wrote you this morning sorry for all of the mispelled words and I am glad i found this sight not fought it.
