Guest guest Posted June 25, 2001 Report Share Posted June 25, 2001 All: Some viruses infect the windows programs that are always running when you use Windows, even in MS-DOS mode. Then it is impossible to clean them while they are running. To get into them you are best served by using a DOS boot-up disk. That way you can get into the Windows programs to delete the infections.
