Guest guest
----- Original Message ----- From: Tumelty <brian.tumelty@...> Hi I can't say that I've done a lot of travelling either before or after the ICD went in, but last year we went to France by car for a fortnight. I had insurance through the AA. Quite expensive but not because of the defib. They weren't worried about it, just asked that I take duplicate medication. This year, hopefully, we are going to Tenerife. There was free insurance with the holiday and they said the same, although also asked me if it was OK with my GP and to get him to record in his notes that he thought I was fit to travel, presumably so that if I get worse and we have to cancel, I have got proof that I was OK when we booked. It is called Swifta Travel Insurance and is with AXA insurance. All I've got to do now is get on the plane - never flown before! Sorry I couldn't be more help Louise
