Guest guest
Anyone else have rituals they do to release their stress? I don't know if you could call it a ritual, but when I am particularly stressed, or sad, or whatever.... I go to the park (normally after dark) and swing on the swings until I feel better! I made it through the stress of paramedic school that way! Only a few of my friends know, or knew where to go to look for me. To this day, I get messages from one of my friends about wanting to go swinging! Love and big smiles, Aisha (Who always sends helium balloons to people at times rather then flowers also lol.) If you ever decide to send me balloons (not that you are going to, but...) could you send me mylar NOT latex! I am very allergic to latex! Guest guest
Hi Everyone You are really making me melancholly today. When I first started teaching my roommate and I would go swinging late at night in the park. We lived in a small village owned by Shell. The police cruised the streets constantly and she ened up marrying the chief. So much for swinging. Love it. I also make a list of everything I want to talk about with the Dr. They sit down beside me and we discuss everything I write down. We don't have a desk between us we talk. This is one of the reasons I don't get mad when I have to wait in the office for my turn. I know that the Dr. will give me the time I need also. Just thought I would jump in here. Have a good day. I wish I had a magic wand to wave and make everyone's pain go away. I will miss Lillian. Love you all Carolyn
Guest guest
This is funny because I thought I was the only adult who loves swinging. I like taking kids to the park because it gives me an excuse to swing!!!!! Lee Faulkncs@... wrote: Hi EveryoneYou are really making me melancholly today. Guest guest
I am glad that I have something in common with folks on here, other than my screwed up health and life. I have been big time into swinging since I can remember.... I am glad that my favorite hobby is fun for more than just me! l harris wrote: This is funny because I thought I was the only adult who loves swinging. Guest guest
Dear Carolyn, "You are really making me melancholly today." Sweetie perhaps we all need to help you establish a ritual so you don't hold in all your anger and frustration? Do you write, as in a journal?? Or paint? Perhaps we can all think of things to help you get rid of your stress. No one wants you to be melancholy dear one. *HUG* Love you and hopes we can find a way to make you smile again, Aisha. Guest guest
This is public service announcement!!!!!!!! SWINGS RULE!!!!!!!!! And death to anyone who dares to insult them.......... I have sat on swings both when I'm happy or upset for as long as I can remember..... I fully agree!!!! It is my favorite thing to do in the world!!!! as a kid I used to pretend I was an aie-ambulance going to rescue a girl who had been trapped in a magic door.......... I had never thought of the Air Ambulance thing, but if you have never been up in one... sounds cool to me!!! As a paramedic, who has flown with an air ambulance.... LifeLink III got to go fly with the twice! It was my future plan to be an actual worker on the flight, instead of as a "ride-a-long" The first time we went to Redwood Falls, MN. To transport a cardiac patient back to Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. I was recognized by one of the ICU staff, This nurse had been a former nurse at St. Ramsey Medical Center, where I had volunteered for 8 years, and to this day, I hold the record for number of hours by a "Jr. Volunteer"!! That was pretty cool!!!!!! Well that's my input on the subject....... I totally agree!!!!! You go girl!! lots of love and happy swinging, Sonja Maybe sometime we should get together and go swinging!!! Anne
