Guest guest
I find meditation extremely valuable. I use a "golden light" meditation tape. It is like bathing in pure love for half an hour. It is so relaxing. The thing that puzzles me is why I find it so hard to take time to meditate. ???????? One of the mysteries of life... I shall post it when I get around to writing it up.Has anyone tried to deal with their problems in a meditation, visualisation or even ritually like Jo does with her throwing stones into the lake? I used to carry a permanent black marker and literally write on the stones. If it ever dries up anthropologists will have a field day. Now I just call them by name and throw. Sometimes I add a few screams - just loud screams of pain until I can sit down and cry it all out. Of course I do this at an isolated place on the lake so nobody is listening to the screams. It does wonders for me. It is kind of like " giving it all to God " - I just give it away. This is easier than just quiet prayer for me, but it has the same kind of spiritual cleansing that I need. I highly recommend it. Of course living in the " land of 10,000 lakes " gives me an advantage over folks in Arizona. Hgs, Jo

I thought it was strange that my other lists were all so quiet, but this explains it all I wrote this response about 1:30 Eastern time on Monday night. There is not a single message in my mailbox AFTER this post which came through 18 hours later. This is nuts! Just so you and G know that it isn't YOU - it is egroups! Guest guest
Hi...email mail wader woman here.....how's everyone doing? i was away at an exciting health science Convention....they released an awesome line of skin care products loaded with nutrition for the cells...I'll age no more...hehe... I use visualization often...my best experience between prayers and lots of human warmth was to visualize my daughter Tessa having the fluid drain properly in her head so that she could avoid having to get shunted. she was born ...with spina bifida ...and 95% of children with that are shunted... I was terrified of her having to get a shunt....because we live 8 hours away from proper medical help....i was so worried for her....so i visualized the fluids going as they should following along the paths and energy paths...so was very close to getting a shunt....after 3 months we were out oif the clear....i think it worked well...now we do it for energy for her legs to get strength..we do that along with massgaes and weight bearing exercises...she's 2 1/2...3 in September. i read someone mentioned mammogram....is that the test where your cup gets turned into a saucer? lol Aisha and Nerys and other chocy fanatics...theres a new book out...entiltled.... " JUST HAND OVER THE CHOCOLATE AND NO ONE WILL GET HURT " ...i roared laughing when i saw the title....it's described as stress busters and joy buildres sure to have you feeling better! I'm going to send some scanned info thru on candida, endo, etc....I'm sorry for the back log in getting it to any one interested...time flies for me some days,.....summer is a busy season for me as well as spring, fall and winter..hehe... I use visualization often...my best experience between prayers and lots of human warmth was to visualize my daughter Tessa having the fluid drain properly in her head so that she could avoid having to get shunted. she was born ...with spina bifida One of my BEST FRIENDs, Lee Lokken... had spina bifida. I am sure he had a shunt, but he also had a bunch of other complications due to his Spina Bifida. I met him when I worked at Gillette Children's Hospital when both of us were Seniors in High School. He always told everyone that I was the girl he was going to marry! Sadly that didn't happen. He was from Wisconsin... I was from Minnesota... and he would never let me live it down that as soon as he moved out of Wisconsin & down to Florida, I moved to Wisconsin to work my dream job while attending BSN school. I talked to him 4 days before I got the phone call from the Orange Co. Sheriff's Dept., informing me of his death. It is my understanding that he was one of the oldest survivors of Spina Bifida. He was 26 years, and 10 months exactly to the day when he died. His death was because although he had EVERY classic symptom of having something Cardiac wrong, NO one thought to do a EKG on him. He had Myocarditis (bacterial infection in the actual heart muscle), and had they actually looked for it, they would have been able to treat it, and he would still be alive today. I think about him a lot! I miss him so much, and he was buried on my 27th birthday. So I don't even look at my birthday in the same way anymore! Sorry, guys! Didn't mean to bring everyone else down too. I am having such a hard time... allergies, allergies, stress, PTS, Porcha being released in 19 hours.... I did just walk down to the mailbox, and have the Conditions of Release for her, which includes the "No Contact Order"!! in my possession now, but this little piece of paper doesn't make me feel as safe as I had hoped it would! I feel like I am on the final count down of Self-Destruction! Why Me?
