Guest guest
welp....we did it!!! we managed to survive this big event that we were so scared to do. my feet are very sore from standing all day for 2 days. by the end of sunday we didnt want to look at another bar of soap again!! needless to say, we haven't taken inventory yet to be able to see what scents sold good and such. i can tell you we made close to $1000.00 for those two days. i don't know if that is good or not for this size craft show but we were happy with it, considering the weather was cold and windy. so, when we finally do take inventory and see what sold well, i will let you guys know. gotta get to work now. oh!!! i met colleen there!!!! what a nice lady, i wished i had more time to talk to her. she gave me a beatiful bar of soap!! i love it!! have a bubbly day!!! lyn

Guest guest
Wow Lyn! I would think that was excellent! Especially since it was a two day show. Is it comparable to what you would make on 2-one day shows? Can I just tell you I must have sniffed my soap I bought from you half way home!!! My dh thought I was so strange, I kept opening the bag, pulling out the bars and sniffing. I love the Creme Brulee scent. Can you tell me where you get the oil? That's the second bar I've bought with that scent and I love it. With the soap I got from G. and Terri Saturday, we now have 5 bars of soap in the shower. DH is using the 1001 Nights from G. and he really likes it. Wow, no more Lever 2000! Can you tell me where you get the oil? the creme brulee was a sample scent from IFT so i don't know if we are going to keep carrying it. okay, i got the sales results of what scents sold the most from the show...here goes: our lip pots almost sold out our healing body balm sold out reaspberry & sunflower sold out early with people coming back wanting more. it was also a IFT sample. raspberry dreams minty morning lavender lilac those were the big sellers. what didn't sell at all??? relaxing cocoa butter tutti fruity spiced cider colleen.....it was really great to meet you!! have a bubbly day!!!!! lyn
Guest guest
Hi Lynn... just getting around to reading posts and trying to become normal again-congrats on the show. I have tried several times to contact the show coordinator to se if I can do it next fall and he won't return my calls so I guess being sick skunked me for a try next year. this is a good show amount and very normal for a two day-at least in my own experience. Way to go!!!. I had to smile when I read you do a healing body balm-it isn't made with Comfrey by chance is it? I make a healing comfrfey salve(but it is an oil based salve) and started marketing in tins. I debated on the name as I wasn't sure about making claims but most folks and old-timers are acquainted with comfrey's healing properties anyway. Hope we can meet up soon-do you do a lot with herbal tinctures and salves? Theresa also is into herbal healing too-we met at an herbal fest over in Lebanon a few years back. Guest guest
Raspberry Dreams & Minty Morning were 2 of the ones I got, so I can tell all of you that they are awesome scents! Haven't used them yet, still working on my Creme Brulee! I've gotta find that scent. Lyn-I hope you and your sister will consider coming to our gathering. I think it'll be great for everyone to get together to share ideas, suppliers, and soap samples!
