Guest guest
Hello! I will definitely keep good records and display the certificate in my booth. Thanks for the heads up on that one. Yes, I've seen those customer receipt pads that you can get at office-supply stores ... if I do decide to do this, I think I'll be getting one of those this weekend! :-) And something to keep the change in (money box). We might already have something around here, I don't know. I'm lucky that my parents bought me all of these plastic bags that were meant for my rubber-stamped greeting cards, but they can also be used for bars of soap, I'm sure. :-) I'll have to dig them out and see where they are! They're clear, which will be great. The church furnishes two chairs for us. And if we need a table to sit behind us, it's $5 extra. They can also get us other chairs if need be. It sounds like a pretty good deal. My mom says that first-year shows don't always do that well, but you never know because some people might come out just to see something new. And since this is being held at a local church, you would think that a lot of congregation members would come. I've exhibited my artwork before in a show -- my rubber-stamped greeting cards -- and I only made like $30, but my parents paid for the booth space anyway. haha :-) So that was good experience with selling. But this is the first time that I've done it totally on my own and done bath and body stuff!!! :-) Terri, I have no problem with using simple e-mail stationery. Like, is this one OK? I get bored with plain-text e-mail messages, too, sometimes! haha. Anyway, I will make sure to keep it simple! Whatever works for everyone on the list. By the way, your hobbies sound neat ... I've never been much into gardening, but I like flowers. I would like to start an herb garden sometime, though. That would be awesome. Cooking is one of my hobbies, and I would *love* to be able to pick some fresh herbs to use when I'm cooking! I've thought about basil, calendula, rosemary, sage, catnip (for our kitty!), mint, parsley, and some others. I just love this list ... it's so active, and everyone on here seems to really love what they do and have such a great need to create, and I love that!!! Everyone is so helpful, expressive, friendly, supportive -- I really feel like you guys are my friends now! Thank you. I can't wait to meet everyone at the gathering this summer!!! And I can't wait until summer, period! haha. --nne (Albany)
