Teri,

I saw that you were talking about your granuloma annulare again. I thought

you may want to see some links on it that I found.

Although there seems to be a known association between it and RA, diabetes

popped up much more often. It is probably worth asking about.

If the docs told you that you had generalized granuloma annulare, that would

be the same as the disseminated form (as opposed to localized).

Thanks, , for those web sites. You seem to have a knack for

finding info that I can't.

I do have the generalized form of GA. I was aware of the diabetes

connection, but didn't want to deal with it! I need to though

because it runs in the family. I need to work harder on getting this

weight off (most of it compliments of prednisone). It is so hard to

lose weight when I am hungry all of the time!

Thanks again, for the important info,

Teri

You're welcome, Teri. Damn that prednisone. Are you still on it? Sorry that

you are having a tough time with your weight.

I'm always on the alert for diabetes info because my mother was recently

diagnosed with Type 2 and her father had it, too. I also know two young

people who have Type 1. They are serious conditions, but improvements in our

understanding of diabetes are bringing new and better treatments.
