STATUS REPORT

Yesterday the doc did lots of blood tests.

They feel something is very wrong. I am to go to Mayo right after

graduates. if not before. I rested a bit in the afternoon, they raised my

morphine alone from 1 2xd to 2 4xd I finally slept for a few hours. Also

added 4 other drugs.

I then talked to lawyers and doctors about - it seems we will

probably be able to have him home Tuesday at the latest. We had a great

night last night - brought to see the High School

Musical - which is Annie Get You Gun and is Buffalo

Bill Cody! Unfortunately for some reason I began to hemorrhage

through my graft site and passed out on the way to the car, while

talking to my doctor!!! It was all I could do to convince him I didn't

need an ambulance. It stopped about 45 minutes later, and I slept off and

on.

We are to have another few hours with and then a whole day

tomorrow. He pitched in last night and did some jobs without being told -

it was great. We also learned that if we have him home and he does have

another fit we can get him right into the hospital here with a pediatric

psychiatrist that just moved here (we had been driving to the Univ of

Iowa (4 hrs). His recent DHS worker was a royal pain - now we have the

one we had when he was first in Care and all is MUCH better with

her on his case - plus our lawyer FINALLY (after 5 days) returned our

call!

I am exhausted, but anxious too see the show - everyone said was

great - so I will go to the last night show and see that

creative energy. Not only is he a dang fine singer...

but a great actor. He will do well, He is planning on majoring in

Theater... or so I thought... when I read the program that includes a

biography (Kathy always does her performance in honor of her mother

- sweet girl) WELL NOT PHILLIP!! LOL He said he'd be attending the

University of Iowa majoring in 'Brewing Techniques' HOLY HANNAH!!! =o)

Well, it is time to check out garage sales sand then remind Dad it is

MOTHERS DAY Tomorrow (hehe)!!! I always give him lots of

money!!!

Better get going on my day I want to talk to the social worker about an

overnight visit...

We'll see.

PS: the girls called last night, It will be a rough summer with home

and no Kathy to act as a buffer.... I am feeling SO OVERWHELMED... I have

to chop things into " baby pieces/steps " I have a list of

25 items on my " A " ((or top priority list)) for today...
