Guest guest
E-Greetings everyone.... Wow.... Signup for our (free) eGroups.com/ mailing service has zoomed... nearly tripling the subscriber base in three days! Please read our notes below on that program... but first, briefs from the big stuff in this week's ZAPPER : • The Florida Governor dies... an ICD might have saved his life. • FREE internet access threatened... what you can do. • Confronting holiday stress. Including: • A test to determine your stress level... from Dr. Dean's radio show (with audio) • How to cope with stress... from MSNBC • ZapChat schedule changes • Wednesday at 8PM EST (US) on December 16, 23, 30. (Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve are on Thursday) • Efforts to get an expert guest on Ablation and A-FIB ICD's • Regular Thursday schedule returns after first of the year There's also the usual reminder to add your experiences to the Zap•Life project. If it's something you have wanted to do, but the time has just not been there... click the link in the previous sentence when you can. Bookmark it if you like. <G> Now... notes on : ************************* I confused some people in the last mailing. We are hoping to convert all current subscribers of our weekly ZapUpdate mailing to the program. But we say again, as long as we have at least one subscriber on the old system, we will keep it active. Now, if you get two copies of this message.... it means you are subscribed to BOTH. Even if you love my writing and hang on every word... no one wants it twice. Right? <G> I'm manually removing email addresses from the old database when someone subscribes to , but I may miss some... especially if someone uses two different email addresses. If that happens.... send me a blank note (duffey@... ) with "Delete ZapUpdate" in the subject box. If your automatic "reply to" is not the email address which you want removed.... put that in the body of your message. OK.... some folks may not want to get a piece of email every time there's a posting to . That's OK. Subscribers have three options: 1) Email delivery of every message... just like any other list service. 2) The option to read the message at the /eGroups.com web site (no email.) 3) An option which provides you with one piece of email a day, summarizing all the posts... that way, if you see something of interest.... go to the /eGroups.com web site and read it. If you lost, or never got an invitation to join , go to this URL: subscribe?list= You will get what appears to be an error message. Ignore that part of the screen, but enter your email address and hit the subscribe button. That's enough for now. Geez, I get wordy when I'm tired. Stay well everyone, and join the WEDNESDAY ZapChat if you can. Duffey
