Guest guest
Yes that is so true...........humidity back east is the pits...I am originally from upstate NY (Syracuse) and I have been here almost 30 yrs in AZ....I cant take winters or humidity any more...Bad enough here when monsoon season (now) hits and humidity gets above 30%...and FL ...well, remember Tupperware was invented and comes from Fl for a reason......MY mom and stepdad just moved there...I thought they were crazy......but they do have a/c and an inside swimming pool in their house so for them it is better than NY for no harsh winters....and they are used to high humidity of summers.....Just giving u my opinion of the weather. Guest guest
Hi I guess everyone is different...but I lived all of my life in Pennsylvania and I was not affected by the heat or cold as much as the humidity..Lots of pain and swelling...I do have Raynauds which ws affected by the cold..I would lose all of the color in my fingers. So therefore, the move to AZ (there is little or no humidity) definitely helps me feel better. It does not slow it down but I do feel better when it is not monsoon season! As far as Florida or PA, I don't think there would be much difference as they both have high humidity. Joanne

This is really scary, some days I feel so good then I work around the house and the next day I can hardly go. Its very depressing. I also have Fibro. and am bi-polar which makes the depression ten times worse. I appreciate you getting back with me. I'm new to all of this. Guest guest
Hi Judy, I live in Pa., and the humidity makes the RA awful. Today has been better because the humidity is so low. Living here though I know it will be back. Guest guest
Kathy I agree. Unfortunately it is a scary disease. The depression rate I understand is over 80% and no wonder...one day you feel decent and the next day wham. That is what eventually put me out of work and on Social Security disability.. Guest guest
Hi, Joann, I agree with you that there's no difference between Florida and PA where humidity is concerned. People who've never lived in PA seem to think that they don't get high humidity but I used to live in Reading and it would get up to 100% and 100 degrees and it still wouldn't rain in the summer. It was miserable! I lived in Georgia for 22 years until I moved to land and it's much more humid here than in Atlanta and my lupus hates it! But I love the area other than that. I have a daughter who lives outside Phoenix and has fibromylagia and she had problems with flare ups when she came up here for six weeks to work on a contract. I hope that soon you will get some relief. in MD. --- boop <boop@...> wrote: > Hi > > I guess everyone is different...but I lived all of > my life in Pennsylvania > and I was not affected by the heat or cold as much > as the humidity..Lots of > pain and swelling...I do have Raynauds which ws > affected by the cold..I > would lose all of the color in my fingers. JOane Hi and Joane, yes the depression is terrible I take xanax , prozac, and wellbutrin for the depression I am also Bi-polar on top of the Ra. Bummer. I seem to deal pretty good most of the time.(that is with meds. ) The pain from the RA is horrible... Hopefully I will learn to cope. I have just been approved for SSD. Thank God.
