Guest guest
Hi! Could we get a discussion going on this topic? I just started in business last year, and did about 6 or 7 craft shows. I'm working on getting a website up too. I'd like to know how everyone is expanding their businesses? Do you approach potential customers with your products to sell them to them wholesale? If so, how do you decide what business/environment would be best for your products? Do you ask them to sign a contract with you? If so, what are your stipulations? How do you decide what your wholesale prices will be? I really want to focus on growing my business this year. I'm interested in doing more than craft shows, but just not sure how to go about it. I know there will be rejections, but I want to be as prepared as I possibly can for the experience! A lot of my family just thinks I " make soap " like it's some no big deal thing. Even though I've got my business license and gone thru some shows, they don't really take me seriously. My sister even dragged me to the mall a couple of weeks ago so she could shop at B & BW for a friend's birthday!!! The nerve of her! She'll spend $50 there, but won't spend that much on my stuff! Anyway-I'd really appreciate everyone's input on growing their businesses thru wholesale accounts. TIA!
