EMail Message Flood/how to stop

Whoaa! ers...

I think we set a record for the number of postings in one day. Many

gained insights... but many people got tired of hitting the delete button.

Several wrote: Angry about overloaded email boxes... A few even quit

the service.

I'm *NOT* discouraging postings... however I'd like to offer

3-alternatives for people who don't want the flood of daily postings: Set

your user profile for one of these options:

1) Read only on the web...

2) Get only ONE piece of email/day: a brief summary of the postings...

3) Get only ONE piece of email/day: a long summary of the postings...

If anyone has trouble figuring out how to make the change... send me an

email and I will do it for you. I'll do almost anything to maintain the

membership base we have built... to make it a viable service to help people.

By staying signed up, you can still take part in the forum, polls, and

utilize the calendar and other databases we are building.

One note... if you are not getting some kind of email delivery, you may

miss my weekly Zapper Updates with info on the newsletter, ZapChats, etc.

In that case, you may refile your subscription to only that service from the

front page of the newsletter at http://www.duff.net/zapper/zap1.htm
