Hang in there girlfriend. I have been in pain with no meds now for about

going on six months. Its a struggle to go on but you do what you have to do.

In my case I still have kids at home and am fortunate that I have been on

disability for about five yrs now so I dont have to try and hold down a job

as well as deal with everything else. I am truly sorry that the drs have

given up on you as I am in that predicament right now. I am in the process

of finding a dr which is hard when you live in a small town like I do. You

have seen them all and there is this stigmatism that comes along with not

reacting to regular drugs and needing narcotics to treat you pain

adequately. I know that people look at us funny when we have problems that

you cannot see on the outside-I myself have probably done this yrs ago when

I was healthy. Hang in there. As my mother always says if you think you are

in bad shape all you have to do is look around and find someone worse off

than you. I am always here somewhere if you ever need me.

Hi Tina ... Thanks for the welcome. I have met many people online that suffer from Fibro and I've only had 1 migraine my whole life so I can't even imagine what you go through? I think the hardest part for me is the "invisible" thing going on. At first when this happened I was so scared I had MS or a brain tumor, but now I wish it had been because at least people would then believe there was something wrong or I could have tried to fix it. I honestly wish I was never born and don't know what the heck my purpose could possibly be anymore and have prayed myself to death many nights (not suicidally, just hating my life and having nowhere to turn?). It's funny, but I don't think people can even imagine how much it means just to simply just hear the words "I understand" you know? Instead they harp on me as if 'I've' done something wrong and I have absolutely no control ... at least I don't think I do and everyone, including the doctors have given up on me which makes me very sad. I never expected anyone to feel sorry for me, but just to understand, and to have my closest friends and boyfriend bail on me really hurt. Okay, enough of the pity party right LOL ... After reading what some of the other people here are going through I feel as if I don't have any problems? I'm very glad to meet you : )

Hi Nanci!!

" I am dealing with an uncontrolled blood pressure problem called Vasal Vagal

Presyncope "

Eek... I've never even heard of it.. what is this??

" along with that came severe GAD (about 3+ years now) "

GAD??? Eek..... what is this one too!! Oh dont you just hate how you get one

disease and then 5 million decide to join in *grrrr*

" so I am looking for a list where people can understand, but not judge "

That is us!! We ocassionaly debate a bit (wink at sheena) but we all love

and support each other. We would never judge you. Please feel free to be

yourself here. Vent all you want. Share what you want - sware, curse, be

positive, negative etc... we are always here.

" my support system is null and void family/friend wise except for online

pals. Everyone thinks I am 'faking' this in some way "

*nods*

Yes.... most of us have been through this too unfortunately. Makes you just

want to shake them and say hey look at the blood tests... I'm sick!!! That

is - if they havent gone off into their own little world and forgotton about

you. Friends... who are they?? Family... the ones that are suppose to love

you the most turn on you faster then anyone! Imagine life without internet!

Ahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

" I live with my mom and I am 39! YIPEE LOL ... I was very independent and

have come to be very dependent "

My hubby and I live with my parents also - sharing your YIPEE!! LOL...

likewise - hate relying on others. It is so frustrating having to always ask

someone to do things for you.

" Pretty much housebound I am except when I go out with my mom somewhere or

just for a car ride ... fun huh? "

*hug* basically sux huh?!

" I harbour A LOT of anger about it and don't know what to do with it? "

Vent away! Bitch, scream, tell all - reveal the shocking truth!! You have

every right to be angry - you did not choose to be sick! Seriously though -

have you no means of venting that anger? Tried art - or started to write a

journal?

" Harley's, "

Ohhh biker chick! Cool :)

" but since I got sick I have missed that very much; along with a social life

in general. "

as well as life in general I bet!

" Right now I am pursuing my Computer Science degree online because before I

got sick I was attending school, so at least I'm able to continue. "

Go for it!! That is excellent!!

" I hope to make some friends and maybe gain some knowledge on how to deal

with this all by hearing what others deal with and how ... "

You have already made friends - we are all friends - anytime you wanna ask

anything just jump in. And jump into any conversation anytime!! I am sure

you can help up cope too!!

I'll add your details to the profiles list in just a moment too :)

Welcome aboard!

Love Aisha.

Hi , Welcome to the group. I hope you will find the support that you

are looking for in the group. It is a great bunch of people. I can really

relate to a lot of what you are talking about. I have PAN vasculitis. I

spent the first two years that I had this disease trying to act and be

normal. Hold down a full-time job, be wife and mother while I was having

extreme joint pain. I was literally living on bottles of nuprin to keep my

job. Dealing with jerky docters that kept telling me I just had a virus and

it would just go away. I was ready to scream. I still get angry when I

think about the treatment I got from some of these docters.

I don't know if that will ever go away. I hate being dependent on others

also. When my disease has been flaired up my husband has to do everything.

Freinds and family just don't seem to understand what your going through. I

know how you feel when you say that you look ok and people think you are

just faking. When my disease is calmed down because of the immune

suppressants, yes I do look fairly normal, but I am not the person I used to

be. I have about 1/3 of the energy I used to. I guess I have learned how

to accept that I have this disease but it has been three years in the making

and with the aid of an anti-depressants. So hang in there it really helps

to vent your anger and share with others. Write anytime, Kellie

Hello Nanci

Hope you are having a happy day!

Welcome to a great circle of friends who are always here for you whether you

need to laugh or cry!!

Sounds like you are having a really rough time of it. I am a carer for my

hubby who has among other things, hashimotos disease (thyroid) and

fibromyalgia (seeing a specialist to find out for sure at end of month)

I understand what you mean about the " if you are sick you must look it " , we

have had the same trouble with my hubby, as he looks no different and has

good and bad days. It sucks that we are brought up to believe that you must

look/ behave a certain way because you have a certain condition of health.

I am so sorry to hear you have no support, that is something everyone

deserves. How well do you get on with your mum? Is she understanding?

Of course you would " pull out of it " if you could, no-one would wish to be

ill and if people think that then I think they are very mean and uncaring.

It is hard to cope with not being able to do all the things you used to do

before. my hubby was a very active guy and we have travelled all over

Australia and Europe together, so it is a hell of an adjustment to have to

stop, and not coz it is your choice.

Anyway just wanted to say hello and glad you found this place.

Take care

Nanci,

I found only one way to make my life meaningful after my

epilepsy became a problem: I figured I could try to help

others with the same problem. And I began talking to

anybody who would listen about epilepsy, just spreading

the info, making sure at least one person became informed.

Now, if you have headaches, its pretty hard to be in the

mood to discuss anything. Has nothing worked to make them

go away? I remember as a teen having to carry Tylenol and

aspirin with me all the time! But the first few times I

smoked some pot...the headaches were gone forever! And the

partial seizures (which are hard to notice except by the

sufferer) also disappeared. just remember: it's better if

you grow the stuff tourself (lots of info on the web for

that. They even export genetically engineered seeds from

holland to the USA by mail!), hydroponically, for example.

Juast never give any to anyone else.

BTW, cannabis has now been proven to be the ONLY weapon

against the most fatal type of brain tumor. Also has been

proven (as much as any drug can be 'proven') to work as a

defense against stroke, and against brain damage after any

sort of concussion or bleeding in the brain. I guess if

you were stoned when you wrecked your car, you have a

better chance of preserving your brain tissue.

Just remember to be careful: In the USA, there is lots of

bad pot going around.

Another thing is demerol, which I always take for any

pain, because here everything is available over the

counter, except for sleeping pills. Try that!

Oh boy, I'm just starting to answer emails from Wednesday LOL ... and have about 200 sitting in my inbox ... YIKES!!!! ... but I'll take a little at a time ... thanks for your patience *S* ... I'm trying to answer questions to questions with answers if that makes sense ...

Hi Nanci!!"I am dealing with an uncontrolled blood pressure problem called Vasal VagalPresyncope"Eek... I've never even heard of it.. what is this?? >>> It's something that has to do with the regulation of my blood pressure so I feel lightheaded and dizzy about 24/7 and sometimes faint and have actual vertigo (dizzy) spells where I can't stand up or I'll fall. I've tried different meds but they didn't work so I'm trying to learn to deal with it but I'm not doing very well. " along with that came severe GAD (about 3+ years now)"GAD??? Eek..... what is this one too!! Oh dont you just hate how you get onedisease and then 5 million decide to join in *grrrr* >>> GAD is Generalized Anxiety Disorder ... uncontrollable anxiety which I have no clue where this came from except maybe because I was a Type A person so stress makes the blood pressure thing worse and the GAD sux too when you don't know where it came from or how to get rid of it without meds. "so I am looking for a list where people can understand, but not judge"That is us!! We ocassionaly debate a bit (wink at sheena) but we all loveand support each other. We would never judge you. There aren't a lot of rules and I like that; not that I hate rules or don't want to have any, but some lists just don't allow you to be yourself and this one seems to do just that ... thanks for you encouragement! Just jumping into your converstaion here!! LOL... >>> No problem LOL ... I'm answering questions to questions with answers again hehehehe "I think the hardest part for me is the "invisible" thing going on. Isn't it sad when you'd rather have a brain tumor just to have to prove to people/family that you are sick? " I honestly wish I was never born and don't know what the heck my purposecould possibly be anymore"There will be one... keep the faith sweet one. >>> You are too kind *S* ... I saw my counselor today and got mad at her now because she told me I needed to change my attitude LOL ... and I told her if I wasn't sick I wouldn't have to change anything! I know she is right. I need to, after 3+ years, come to the realization that my life has changed and I can't do anything about it and accept it and try to move on. I just don't see how I can chalk this up and blow off my past life? I guess if I tell myself 'everything is hunky dory Nanci' every 5 minutes, she seems to think it will be? It isn't nice to get mad at your counselor, but jeez I just want her to help me get better ... I don't know .... " Instead they harp on me as if 'I've' done something wrong and I haveabsolutely no control ... at least I don't think I do and everyone, including the doctors have given up on me which makes me very sad."Even the doctors???????? Girl you need new doctors!! Why have the doctorsgiven up on you? >>> Well dear, I've been to Madison Clinic and Mayo Clinic (the mother of all clinics) and they find nothing else wrong or can't help with anything else. I have had every conceivable test done ... MRI's, CT Scans, gallons of bloodwork, eye tests, ear tests, heart tests, spinal tap (OOOOHHHHH that was fun!), Gynie tests, you name it. I'm so tired of being poked and prodded that I honestly don't have the energy to try anymore???? Maybe when I get back home to IL this summer I'll check out more docs or different means of 'healing' treatments? "I never expected anyone to feel sorry for me, but just to understand, andto have my closest friends and boyfriend bail on me really hurt."*hug* yes. The ones who you thought loved you the most... it hurts alot. >>> Yes it does and they don't understand ... maybe they just feel helpless? "Okay, enough of the pity party right"Never! LOL.... >>> Well thank you dear ... I'll go have another right now LOLOLOL " After reading what some of the other people here are going through I feelas if I don't have any problems?"Rubbish! As I say - there will always be someone better then you and someoneworse then you - but that makes absolutely no difference to how you feel.Dont beat up on yourself. You are entitled to how you feel and have everyreason to be angry, hurt and the rest of it. There is no need to feelguilty - it is not your fault that you are ill. *hug* >>> I know you are right ... it doesn't really matter what is wrong with a person, it is how they themselves can deal with it. There are people terminal that deal with life better than me and healthy people that don't. Thanks for the hug! *S* Be gentle on yourself and know that we are here for you.with loveAisha. >>> Thanks again Aisha ... HUGS to all of you!!!!!!

Hi Kellie ... thanks for the welcome! *S* ... I can so relate to what you say too. Doctors are so worried about getting to the next patient these days they NEVER take enough time to worry about you. The last time I went to my family doctor, he was more worried about my mom taking care of me than he was of me. He told me there was nothing else he could do for me so adios baby! S C R E A M !!!! is right! I believe there are so many new illnesses out now that they just don't want to take long enough to really find out what the problem is. Another thing that really got me is when I first had this dizziness and stuff and they wanted to do a CT scan I had to wait a month and a half!!!! What IF I DID have a brain tumor? I'm telling you everytime I had to see another doctor I had to wait a minimum of 3-4 weeks if not more. When I went to Mayo ... OMG what a horrible experience. Millions of people ... like being in a hospital factory ... I feel sorry for anyone who can't be diagnosed and has to go from doctor to doctor. I don't know how you and many people can go on with life hurting and trying to do everything. I guess I am lucky in the fact that my boyfriend didn't bail on me til my mom moved up here? I pretty much layed on my couch the first year of this and cried; it was horrible and the symptoms were undescribable ... all I knew was/is there is something wrong and I'm not crazy ... Please tell me what PAN vasculitis is? How did you finally get a dx? I am glad that you have a supportive husband even if you don't like to depend on him. Thanks for the welcome and encouragement and if you have any suggestions on how to accept stuff like this please do share with me ... I have so much anger and just can't kick it ... I want my life back ... I'm only 39; was 35 when it started and my life was just falling into place and then boom! I don't mean to be so negative, but this is the first time I've had people understand ... sorry ... I'll try to be a little more upbeat LOL ... Thanks everyone for being so understanding : )

Nanci~

Hi , Welcome to the group. I hope you will find the support that youare looking for in the group. It is a great bunch of people. I can reallyrelate to a lot of what you are talking about. I have PAN vasculitis. Ispent the first two years that I had this disease trying to act and benormal. Hold down a full-time job, be wife and mother while I was havingextreme joint pain. I was literally living on bottles of nuprin to keep myjob. Dealing with jerky docters that kept telling me I just had a virus andit would just go away. I was ready to scream. I still get angry when Ithink about the treatment I got from some of these docters.I don't know if that will ever go away. I hate being dependent on othersalso. When my disease has been flaired up my husband has to do everything.Freinds and family just don't seem to understand what your going through. Iknow how you feel when you say that you look ok and people think you arejust faking. When my disease is calmed down because of the immunesuppressants, yes I do look fairly normal, but I am not the person I used tobe. I have about 1/3 of the energy I used to. I guess I have learned howto accept that I have this disease but it has been three years in the makingand with the aid of an anti-depressants. So hang in there it really helpsto vent your anger and share with others. Write anytime, Kellie

Hi Tina ... thanks for your welcome ... doesn't it suck when the docs give up on you? I mean where else are you supposed to turn? I've been on disability also for about a year and a half so I have to say I feel lucky in that manner because I couldn't work right now. My kids are also 17 & 20 so when this happened 3 years ago they were pretty self-sufficient. I'm glad that you can go on even when you think you can't. I guess we all do ... How old are your kids? Do you deal with these migraines on a daily basis? Your kids are lucky to have a mom that can keep on going for them *S* ... I hope that you can find a doctor to help you soon. Tell your mom that she is right; I have heard that many times and know that it is true, but as I said I guess it's more of how a person reacts to their own situation that makes or breaks them? Thanks for being so kind and I hope everyone knows that I am here to also share and care for others ... Everyone has been so sweet and offers to listen and be there and I just want you all to know I am here too because I can honestly say for once in my life "I understand" ... Have a nice weekend Tina *S*

Hang in there girlfriend. I have been in pain with no meds now for about going on six months. Its a struggle to go on but you do what you have to do. In my case I still have kids at home and am fortunate that I have been on disability for about five yrs now so I dont have to try and hold down a job as well as deal with everything else. I am truly sorry that the drs have given up on you as I am in that predicament right now. I am in the process of finding a dr which is hard when you live in a small town like I do. You have seen them all and there is this stigmatism that comes along with not reacting to regular drugs and needing narcotics to treat you pain adequately. I know that people look at us funny when we have problems that you cannot see on the outside-I myself have probably done this yrs ago when I was healthy. Hang in there. As my mother always says if you think you are in bad shape all you have to do is look around and find someone worse off than you. I am always here somewhere if you ever need me.Tina

Hi Nerys ... WOW ... I've never gotten so many wonderful welcomes and messages ... I'm going to be here for days LOL ... what day am I on ... Thursday ... YIPEEEEE! I'm catching up slowwwwwwwwly but surely .... I wish I could say I'm having a happy day, but these days I'm just having days LOL ... thank you for your kind thoughts though ... maybe one day I'll be able to say I'm having a good/happy day ... thank you for a wonderful welcome as all of you have. It really seems there is such a common bond of this "invisible" thing going on with many of us. It is one of the hardest to deal with. How do you cope with being a carer for your hubby? He is soooooooooooooo lucky to have you. Most people just bail when someone gets sick as you've read. That's so not cool!!!!! I would/could NEVER do that to anyone and don't understand how people can do that to people they love or care for. I hope your hubby gets some news at the doctors this month. It's hard to wait isn't it? You sound like such a happy, cheerful person ... wanna trade bodies???? hehehehehehehe .... My mother and I have a love/hate relationship. We do very well when we have our space or don't live together, but we are soooooooooo opposite that it's hard for both of us, not just me. She is a very giving person monetarily wise, but emotionally she is just not there for me and I've tried to explain that to her for almost my whole life. Her way of showing love is to buy ... not extravagant, but in her way. She is understanding to a very low point. You have to understand though that she is 65, overweight and has high blood pressure and diabetes, so even though she can do more than I can, she still is getting up there and is hard for her to drive me here and there and cook and stuff. My kids are not supportive at all, but a lot of people tell me that kids just aren't? My friends bailed because I couldn't go out and 'do' and my boyfriend bailed as soon as my mom moved up here. 5 years down the tubes ... oh well; live and learn ... Now I don't even bother looking for anyone because I feel who would want me now anyway? And I can't go out so how do I meet someone? I am glad to hear that you and hubby go to travel to such wonderful places!!!!!! That is something no one can ever take away from you. It must be so hard for a man to have to deal with being active to not being active though. I hope he has a better disposition than I do and finds purpose and meaning for himself. I hope things work out for the best for you both ... have a nice weekend and thanks again for caring *S*

Nanci~

Hello NanciHope you are having a happy day!Welcome to a great circle of friends who are always here for you whether youneed to laugh or cry!!Sounds like you are having a really rough time of it. I am a carer for myhubby who has among other things, hashimotos disease (thyroid) andfibromyalgia (seeing a specialist to find out for sure at end of month)I understand what you mean about the " if you are sick you must look it", wehave had the same trouble with my hubby, as he looks no different and hasgood and bad days. It sucks that we are brought up to believe that you mustlook/ behave a certain way because you have a certain condition of health.I am so sorry to hear you have no support, that is something everyonedeserves. How well do you get on with your mum? Is she understanding?Of course you would "pull out of it" if you could, no-one would wish to beill and if people think that then I think they are very mean and uncaring. It is hard to cope with not being able to do all the things you used to dobefore. my hubby was a very active guy and we have travelled all overAustralia and Europe together, so it is a hell of an adjustment to have tostop, and not coz it is your choice.Anyway just wanted to say hello and glad you found this place.Take careNerys

Hi ... girl you are too funny ... but in a good way! First off I think it is great that you found a purpose or meaning in your life to help other people; I think that is so great! Good for you *S* ... It might not be fun for you, but at least you have accepted it and are moving on. You should feel so good about helping others understand. Do you really have a hold on the epilipsy now by smoking weed? Can you do stuff or do you ever still have seizures that prevent you from living fairly normal? I don't have headaches and I did smoke pot when I was in high school, but I have to say you caught me off guard when you started talking seriously about it LOL ... at first I thought you were messing around ... I'm glad to hear if you really have found something to help you and I have found your message to be very interesting and informative! Are you from the U.S. or otherwise? Where the heck do you get the stuff? You be careful to girl ... and as far as demerol ... you can buy that over the counter? Isn't it addicting? I don't know much about that stuff ... so I'm just curious, not giving you the 3rd degree or 20 questions LOLOL ... take care ... nice meeting you *S*

Nanci,I found only one way to make my life meaningful after myepilepsy became a problem: I figured I could try to helpothers with the same problem. And I began talking toanybody who would listen about epilepsy, just spreadingthe info, making sure at least one person became informed. Now, if you have headaches, its pretty hard to be in themood to discuss anything. Has nothing worked to make themgo away? I remember as a teen having to carry Tylenol andaspirin with me all the time! But the first few times Ismoked some pot...the headaches were gone forever! And thepartial seizures (which are hard to notice except by thesufferer) also disappeared. just remember: it's better ifyou grow the stuff tourself (lots of info on the web forthat. They even export genetically engineered seeds fromholland to the USA by mail!), hydroponically, for example.Juast never give any to anyone else.BTW, cannabis has now been proven to be the ONLY weaponagainst the most fatal type of brain tumor. Also has beenproven (as much as any drug can be 'proven') to work as adefense against stroke, and against brain damage after anysort of concussion or bleeding in the brain. I guess ifyou were stoned when you wrecked your car, you have abetter chance of preserving your brain tissue.Just remember to be careful: In the USA, there is lots ofbad pot going around.Another thing is demerol, which I always take for anypain, because here everything is available over thecounter, except for sleeping pills. Try that!vanessa

Hi Nanci!,

> Oh boy, I'm just starting to answer emails from Wednesday LOL ... and have

> about 200 sitting in my inbox ... YIKES!!!! ... but I'll take a little at

a

> time ... thanks for your patience *S* ... I'm trying to answer questions

to

> questions with answers if that makes sense ...

LOL...

" It's something that has to do with the regulation of my blood pressure so I

feel lightheaded and dizzy about 24/7 and sometimes faint and have actual

vertigo (dizzy) spells where I can't stand up or I'll fall. I've tried

different meds but they

didn't work so I'm trying to learn to deal with it but I'm not doing very

well. "

Is there nothing anyone can do to help? I guess you have had the 5 zillion

tests and scans?

" GAD is Generalized Anxiety Disorder ... uncontrollable anxiety which I have

no clue where this came from except maybe because I was a Type A person so

stress makes the blood pressure thing worse and the GAD sux too when you

don't know where it came from or how to get rid of it without meds. "

Without meds??? Surely there would be something that could help. Have you

tried a mild anti depressant like any of the triptylines or zolft?

" I've done all that fun stuff ... I do swap stickers with online pals and I

am getting into rubber stamping ... journaling I want to try but can't find

the time ... "

You must love Ebay :)

" I am so stuck in the past, I can't seem to move forward ... : "

Anything we can do to help just say. If you are having a bad day - vent it

out and know that we are here to hug and to share.

" Thanks Aisha (Pretty name!) "

Thank you.

I was " " but changed my name. I always hated being called ,

and since I had been ill and injured for most of my life, " " was a

bad association with those things.

Aisha (pronounced I-E-Sha or A-E- Sha) means alive and well, sure I dont

have to explain why that one resonated with me!

" I saw my counsellor today and got mad at her now because she told me I

needed to change my attitude LOL ... and I told her if I wasn't sick I

wouldn't have to change anything! "

Agreed!! I was told that I was making myself sick since I was " afraid of my

body " or that I had " chose to be well " ~ well excuse me but I have chosen to

be well... now where is that health?

" I know she is right. I need to, after 3+ years, come to the realization

that my life has changed and I can't do anything about it and accept it and

try to move on. "

Easy for her to say she is not sick! Best bit of advice I have ever had -

Just because you accept it doesn't mean you have to like it!

" I just don't see how I can chalk this up and blow off my past life? "

And why *should* you?? You past life is part of you too remember. And you

have every right to be angry - it is not a bad thing. You are as you feel

and that is healthy! Ask Nerys! She always tells us it is better to vent out

how we feel then to bottle it all up inside.

You cannot just say " oh well this is it " and be glad about it! (if you do

you have a more serious problem!!) There are many stages of grieving any

loss. And the loss of your previous life and all you dreamed that is no

longer is a HUGE loss.

" I guess if I tell myself 'everything is hunky dory Nanci' every 5 minutes,

she seems to think it will be? It isn't nice to get mad at your counsellor,

but jeez I just want her to help me get better ... I don't know .... "

Considered seeing a counsellor who actually helps you?

" Well dear, I've been to Madison Clinic and Mayo Clinic (the mother of all

clinics) and they find nothing else wrong or can't help with anything else.

I have had every conceivable test done ... MRI's, CT Scans, gallons of

bloodwork, eye tests, ear tests, heart tests, spinal tap (OOOOHHHHH that was

fun!), Gynie tests, you name it. I'm so tired of being poked and prodded

that I honestly don't have the energy to try anymore???? "

*nods* Uh huh.. been there too... all of them actually.. and yes the spinal

tap is fun isnt it. But you gotta keep the faith - there is a reason you

feel as you do so although I understand that you need time out from going

through it all over and over again, somewhere someone will be able to help

you. Took me 10 years and zillions of practitioners later to be diagnosed.

So I totally relate hon!

" Maybe when I get back home to IL this summer I'll check out more docs or

different means of 'healing' treatments? "

That is always an option too. Have you tried any alternatives?

" Now I don't even bother looking for anyone because I feel who would want me

now anyway? "

*HUGS* Ohhh I know the feeling you are in when you say that, and words are

useless to help anyone with that emotion. Just know that you are special and

deserving of love and all things good, same as everyone. Just because you

are sick doesn't mean that you are no good. What you need just now is lots

of TLC. Sending you lots of cyber hugs hon. Hang in there ok. And anytime

you feel down just vent here - you are never alone, and we think you are

special, everyone on this list is special. We were even going to change the

name to something like " Fabulously Magnificent " or something ... LOL...

that's cause we all are!

with lots of love,

Aisha.

It was a joke, but it does make me think...

Like, did you know that there is alcohol involved in 33%

of car wrecks? The sort of people who use statistics to

convince the public of anything might say, hey, only 33%

of wrecks involved alcohol, so you have a better chance

if you drink, cause if you don't, the chance is 66%. Most

people, remembering nothing of their 4th grade math,

believe this sort of thing! Statistics guys are dangerous!

Thanks for the nice letter. My boys are 16 and 20. My oldest is going

through a divorce and he has a beautiful little daughter who will be two in

May. I have had her most of the day and although she is quite a joy to my

life she has totally worn me out-in a good way. I am hoping soon to find a

dr who will treat me with not only adequate pain meds but with the respect

we all duly deserve. Hang in there and like I said before I will be here if

you or anyone else needs me. Are your kids boys? girls? Hope you get to

feeling better really soon and also find a dr who will take care of you

right. Hang in there.
