Guest guest
, I'm here, thinking of you and praying for your Aunt, Dylan and YOU! You sound soo overwhelmed! I know you are.........so am I! Just had my official, first panic attack, this past Tuesday, while in support group at Tara's school. Just came over me like a flash, I couldn't breathe, and then developed a terrible migraine headache......and still had an hour drive home with Jillian, and Tara in the van! I had to call my husband from the highway to tell him to please meet me at home as I was sick, the minute I pulled into my driveway, I threw up in the snow.............I have called the director of Tara's school and told them " we " are taking the month of January off! Tuesday was a wake up call for me to slow down! Gotta get a grip here! It's tough Gail..........Bobby 7{next week}Jillian 4 1/2, and Tara{Ds} 21months > > Hi everyone; > These past few months have been a real downer for me. Guest guest
: Please know that you, your aunt and Dylan are in my prayers. So many sad things happening to so many of us out there during what is supposed to be a joyous time of year. We can drive ourselves crazy trying to second guess God's plan. It's the trusting and letting go (to turn ourselves over to God) that's the hardest. Hope they can figure out something for Nicala's eczema too! Sam has a small spot under his arm, kind of a red patchy circle. Looked up in the medical book about ring worm and impetigo (didn't fit the descriptions), but eczema came close. The boys have their 4 year old check up tomorrow so will ask the doc to look at it! Guest guest
I hate to use the " prayers please " for something not life-threatening, but I'm worried it could be dangerous for Kate. started vomiting last night at 3:30am, which made for a whopping 2 hours of sleep for me. But enough about me -- poor kid would have diarrhea, then get all cleaned up from that and then throw up. She kept fighting it, trying to swallow it like she does her reflux and at one point she was choking to the point my DH actually shagged his arse out of bed and came in too! I was telling her to let it come, it's her body's way of getting the sickness out, but she was scared to let go. Finally we were on to dry heaves around 5am. Thankfully Kate cooperated during this time and didn't demand a feeding until my head hit the pillow at 6:30am, I was staying in 's room because she was getting the urge to vomit too suddenly to call me. Little trooper used her " basin " for the biggest one... a huge, deep tupperware bowl with a washcloth in the bottom. Been doing laundry since 4am! Nothing left in her tummy now but at least she's drinking a little water, now we're onto diarrhea and associated horrible buttrash. Ped says something's going around that's not Rotavirus but IS vomiting and diarrhea, but this SMELLS like Rotavirus to me -- you vets know what I mean. This is the 4th time she's has this since age two... man I hate it. I know others have probably had it more but it's just so AWFUL!!! Anyway, please pray Kate doesn't get this. Her maternal antibodies are probably waning pretty badly by now, but thank God we breastfeed. I hope it protects her enough, I'd hate to know what happens when an 8 week old gets gastroenteritis. Thank you -- (mom to Kate, born 9/19/02; and , age 3-3/4 -- currently has polysaccharide antibody def, previously had transient IgG, IgA, t-cell & other defs)

Guest guest
, I will say a prayer for you guys. When Caelan was 7 months old, we all got a horrible case of gastroenteritis, the kind where you are laying on the bathroom floor worried you are not gonna make it another hour! Well I was still BF Caelan and he didn't get it! All three of us had it, diarrhea & vomiting with fever etc, but not Caelan. Of course it was a real blast to BF a baby while vomiting and having diarrhea. I hope that Kate doesn't get this! Guest guest
, You just reminded me that the same thing happened while Duncan was still nursing. I had the worst stomach bug for three days & he never got it. I stayed in bed nursing the whole time. . .luckily he was 11 months old & could keep himself entertained. Plus, we had his two sisters & they didn't mind helping out either. I was soooo glad when it was over, though. The worst part was that I lost 10 lbs. that I desperately needed to lose and within a week it was all back Ray, mother to Tabitha (age 7), Autumn, age 5 (IgG def., asthma, chronic sinusitis, and allergies), and Duncan (18 months)
