Kassia, how are those Caribbean pilates workouts?

good afternoon all.

my knee was really killing me today for some reason so i did not do any cardio. but i did however finished two-20 min. pilates segments from caribbean workout dvds and did an upper body routine with resistance bands and couple sets of triceps dips. going to try some yoga in a little bit but if my knee still hurts i will back off. feels okay for now, but when i was walking around doing laundry it was a really painful to move. darned if i know what happened.

Hi Kim,

Can't wait to hear what you think of Jari! What FIRM

rotation are you following? I'm on a major FIRM kick

these days, and I might add I've seen great strength

and endurance gains since re-visiting the older ones

since the first of the year!

Great job getting your workouts in despite the heat!! I can't translate celsius and farenheit but it was 95 F here. Serious heat. I chose to stay inside when I could and chose not to exercise and melt (though we have air conditioning and I could have turned it on during a workout so as not to melt but simply chose not to anyway). You did great though!!

Hi everyone. Yesterday I tried Shape's transforming interval aerobics -

haven't done aerobics for a long time. It was pretty good - in other words,

I could follow along. LOL Did another 16 mins on the tmill afterwards,

just to get more cardio in.

Today I was scheduled to do circuits, so I pulled out Crunch Cardio Sculpt.

It was okay but I don't know what was wrong with me. I found the moves

difficult in several places. Usually this type of workout is fairly

straight-forward, but the choreo seemed more intricate. Or maybe I hadn't

had enough coffee yet...

I also pulled a Carolyn, and went out to clean off the driveway. Even the

sun was out, so it was lovely. Anyway, I shovelled for all of 13 minutes,

and my arms and back were sore, and my legs felt like jelly! LOL

Burned - get this - 84 calories! Can't tell me that shovelling on a regular

basis won't get you in shape!

Darn it, you know I thought I had the perfect way to slim down by spring...

, looking for other manual labour max workouts

(and yes, my arms and shoulders are still stiff...what, exactly, am I

lifting weights for if I can't shovel the stoopid driveway??? (I know, I

know, different exercises...but I needed to vent)) :-)

Interesting dream, !  I agree about CLX, they are intense but don't take up too much time.  I might have to do these again soon myself once I'm done with the Slim Series! Are you going to do the Burn Circuit for a month?

Yeah Liz! I have done 1 session of LL with the bands, going to do another in a

bit with reflexology. My plan is twice a day for 5 days a week then at least

once a day for either of the other 2 days.
