Guest guest
Hi again, Leva, I am going to try this from the web site. For some reason my messages are posting with the words all run together and it makes it really hard to read. Here it is again: Rashelle's Healthy Habits for a Lifetime with LifeLift, OxygenLift Newsletter Number 56 ------------------------------------------- All information in this newsletter is protected under copyright by Rashelle Haines. This is to important to avoid any misinterpretation of the instructions.. ------------------------------------------- Reducing belly fat can do more than just make you look good. It is amazing how many different things in our bodies are changed when we work on just one area of our body. For many years people thought that the only way to flatten your belly was to do those grueling crunches that often left us injured and hurting with no sign of flatter abs. The interesting thing is that we were doing it all in the name of a more attractive abdomen. Most of us never realized or even thought that by working off the fat on our abdomen that we would actually be reducing many health risks too. Studies show carrying fat around your mid section can put you at a higher risk for many other ailments, including diabetes, heart disease, and many types of cancer. You can flatten your abdomen and improve your immune system by adding just a few healthy habits daily. No more injuries from crunches and you can actually see results for your efforts. 1-Do your LifeLift morning and at bedtime with this simple belly rub. Many LifeLifters have been experimenting with this and the results are in. I have been getting some rave reviews from those who really stuck with it and on a personal note, I find that when I do it faithfully my belly shows it. 2-Eat the right kind of protein. As you increase your protein intake your waist and belly measurement may go down. A study of 42,00 people reveals that chicken, lean beef and fish create the biggest decrease in abdominal sizes. Protein is important so make sure you are not depriving yourself. Many dieters starve themselves and often they are gaining weight, especially around the middle Make sure you are fueling your body every few hours and try to keep your food intake balanced. Trying to completely eliminate any of the healthy food groups can be a big mistake and lead to excess fat storage. 3-Reduce your stress and reduce the size of your belly and waistline. Doctors at the University of California, San Francisco recently discovered that chronic stress can cause you to accumulate fat right on your abdomen. Women are especially at risk for this. When we are under stress our body will create a hormone called cortisol. This hormone will increase the size of your abdomen and stimulates your appetite for foods that are loaded with sugar and fats. It also sends a message to your brain to store the fat around your belly to protect your organs. The answer to all of these is to do some simple, easy, nurturing LifeLift breaths. Keep your movements slow and easy. Studies have shown that when people push themselves to exercise too hard or for too long that their cortisol levels increase dramatically. I have been doing research for years and once again I will state that I am convinced, the more relaxed you are the easier it is for your body to release toxins, fat and stress. Combine your LifeLift breaths with this simple old Chinese rubbing technique and Rub Fat From Your Abdomen in only minutes a day. I know this may seem a little crazy, but then to most of us breathing to lose weight, reduce stress and increase energy probably seemed a little out there too, years ago. Now we all know that it is oxygen that burns fat and that deep breathing is one of the most important and powerful things we can do to improve our health, reduce our stress and to improve the way we age. This is only a tiny part of the list of things that LifeLift deep breathing can do to benefit our lives. Being open to new ideas can also offer us great benefits. The old thinking was that if you wanted to tighten the flab on your abdomen you needed to do those painful, time consuming crunches and for most they did not give much in return in the way of results. Combining some LifeLift breaths with this wonderful old Chinese method will take only a few minutes out of your day and may reward you in so many ways, including extra energy to accomplish twice as much. First begin by doing at least 10 LifeLift breaths with or without other positions. I like doing this while I am in a pelvic tilt position, just because it offers many other benefits to combine those pelvic tilt poses with the LifeLift breaths. This should take about 5 minutes. To begin this lie on your back. Now put the palm of your hands on your navel- then close your eyes and connect with your thoughts as you make the motions to rub that fat away. Use your right hand, start at your navel then rub clockwise from the center, that is from right to left, first in small circles, then increase the circles until the upper and lower abdomen are being rubbed when you have covered both the lower and upper abdomen reverse the movement counter clockwise , this time the circle gets smaller with each and every counter clockwise rotation until you are back at your navel. I like to do one complete LifeLift breath before each rotation. This way I am in the " lift " portion of the LifeLift! breath when I start the circles. One complete LifeLift breath before the circle and one when I start the counter clockwise rotation. Do not apply intense force, you want a simple gentle rubbing motion, when you get to the navel, repeat from the start again. Do this at least 10 times, ideally 10 times in the morning and 10 times in the evening before bedtime. What is happening when you apply your right hand on your belly and you are performing the clockwise movement is that energy is being passed from the hands through the skin to your belly, so as you go in circles, you are applying energy to the muscles of the stomach. This combined with the health-building oxygen from the LifeLift breaths will be fueling the fat burn on the abdomen area, and the oxygen will be benefiting your entire body with each LifeLift breath you take. To make this exercise more effective visualize the energy from the hands going through the skin to your belly, gently massaging and burning fat off your abdominal area. You will be creating stimulation to your entire body but your intestines, your digestive and bowl system and your blood vessels in your abdomen area will receive the most benefit. You will be disturbing and breaking up fat accumulations from their resting place where it will be passed into your elimination system. Those stubborn fat accumulations will be disturbed from their resting place, broken up, where it is passed into the bowl system and eliminated. In the Original LifeLift DVD and Video I have shown you how to rub your abdomen in a clockwise position to encourage proper bowl movement to relieve bloating, constipation and to allow you to have regular bowl movements. Constipation can cause water retention and weight gain. This morning one of our loyal LifeLifter's posted the message below to one of our LifeLift support groups. I loved this message and wanted to share it with all of you. Any time we see positive, informative messages like this it helps inspire all of us to stop and do our LifeLift breaths. The benefits are endless. " I wanted to share some info about how LifeLift contributes to a stronger digestive tract, promotes regularity & results in better health as it relates to elimination... My younger son is a Ph.D. candidate at UC in the Nutrition & Food Science departments, and last night we were discussing the fact that our intestinal tract is a " sheath " of smooth muscle -- Doing LifeLift breathing also flexes that long muscular tube of our colon, which tones & tightens it up, reducing its diameter (to something like the circumference of a strong/skinny garden hose, rather than that of a fat/flabby drier hose!) Now, here's how you can SEE that doing your LifeLift flex-breathing is actually strengthening, toning & slenderizing the smooth muscles of your intestines: Notice that the shape of your bowel movements has changed to being thinner (like a lean garter snake) instead of bigger (like a plum! plump boa constrictor) -- This is a good improvement, resulting in much LESS straining on the stool to evacuate your bowel, which is a much SAFER condition for your blood pressure & the HEALTH of your entire circulatory system too <:-) So this is just one more GREAT benefit of practicing LifeLift !!!
