Hi there Steph,

My goodness you are so full of excitement and joy I can feel it way

over here. : )

I hope you don't stay a silent member of this forum; because you are

amazing and you will add so much to our group.

Maybe you have inspired other lurkers to come and say hi. I can say

that wayyyy back when I was a lurker (maybe 8 years ago) I just

didn't get as much out of the workout until I came on in and

introduced myself. Since then, being part of such an incredible

group of beautiful people; has certainly helped me in too many ways

to list.

Thank you for being here!

Hugs,

Wanda.

Hot Diggety Dog! Thanks Y'all

Hello Everyone,

I'm the one who's 4yr. old uses LiftLift to help stop her hiccups. I'm a

fairly silent member of this forum, I use it to get the motivation I

need by reading the different threads to get answers to questions I

have. I must thank Rashelle and all of you who have expressed words of

encouragement and other tips on this forum. You all have indirectly

helped me sooo much!

2 years ago, I lost 25 lbs. of baby weight (I gained 50 lbs) in 2 months

doing the 6Week Body Makeover.I went from a 14/16 to a 10/12, though I

needed to lose 40 more I felt good about myself and stopped the diet. I

slowly started gaining the weight back (gained it all plus some) and

tried to start and stop sooo many times, but my heart wasn't really in

it like at first, because though the diet worked, I really couldn't see

myself eating according to certain rules the rest of my life to maintain

my weight and I just wasn't feelin' the exercises. I ordered the

Lifelift DVD's at the beginning of this year, but wasn't fully convinced

that it was for me, so I'd do that off and on. I just didn't have that,

" Aha " moment to get me motivated.

Until Last Wednesday. I decided to secretly start the diet again and did

well that day, but my heart wasn't in it.I was so over it. [8-|] Then

without even speaking to each other about it, each of my parents during

different times of the day tried to encourage me, knowing that I haven't

been successful lately with my dieting and wanted to help me. I thought

to myself, " Man, am I really that outta control, that my parents felt

the need to talk to me about my weight? " [:-/]

Later that evening I came to this forum and lifelift.net and read and

read and read, I was so motivated by the convictions of everyone and how

excited they were to just BREATHE. I decided to give LifeLift another

chance, since I was bored with everything else or didn't have the time

for other exercises. Thursday I woke up with renewed spirit and positive

outlook, did tape 1 and took my daughter to school. Throughout the day I

did breaths here and there and belly rubs. I didn't keep this routine

everyday, but did do some breaths daily, and I DID NOT DIET. I'm a

fairly healthy eater, who likes to eat with enjoyment and not feel

guilty if I eat some M & M's or honey bun (both of which I did have).

This morning, 1 week later, I didn't have time to workout to the video

so as I got myself ready to start the day and get my daughter off to

school I did LifeLifts instead of regular breathing. I thought, " Hey,this

is a pretty cool way to work out without stopping what I'm doing. " I got

on the scale without much hope, especially since I had pasta the night

before and to my surprise I lost NINE POUNDS! HOT DIGGETY DOG! [:D] I'm

soooo excited! I found something I can see myself doing everyday to lose

weight or not, it's relaxing, refreshing, and now I understand why

others have said that losing weight is an extra benefit. Now I must

reward myself at the nail salon. I've learned to love my curves, but

some curves snuck their way in, so after 20 lbs. I'm getting the body

wraps! Whoo-Hoo! Yay Me! [:P]

Sorry this was sooo long, but I just had to let you all know how excited

I am! Thank you, thank you, thank you, keep being positive, you never

know who your words may touch.

Happy Breathing! [:)]

Rashelle,

Thank you for your concern for all of us. I love that you are so

personable with everyone and that what has drawn so many to you and

your wonderful way of nurturing our bodies. this form of deep

breathing relaxes and calms me so much, that I sometimes feel like

taking a nap after a workout, even my girlfriend called me while I

was doing my workout and apologized for waking me! LOL

Take Care,

Steph
