Weight-loss plateaus & being lean but heavy...

WOW Pat, you hit the nail right on its head !!!

My " instinctive gut-feeling " about weight-loss plateaus is that they

are the body's way of adjusting it's natural set-point downward in a

stair-step manner -- First we lose inches & then we " consolidate " at

the smaller size, then we lose some more inches & consolidate again

at an even smaller size, so on & so forth, as our measurements scale

ever downward step-by-step, while building lean muscle mass <:-)

And here's another thing I've also been wondering about LifeLift:

does anyone know whether LL flex-breathing somehow helps increase

BONE DENSITY ??? I have a sneaking suspicion that it might !!! And

I'll bet you that solid bones also WEIGH MORE than porpous ones do,

LOL

Your friend,

CC

Life Lift breathing after a little more than 13 months because I am

so skinny and dainty!!! That is truly a miracle!!! Wow!! From my

appearance now, at 182 lbs., I can just see myself when I am at my

goal weight of 130 lbs. looking like I weigh less than 100 lbs!!!!!

>

> I don't care if I have to wait for three or four years for that to

happen, as I know that the longer it takes me to get down to 130 lbs.

the better off I will be!!! I am planning to do Life Lift breathing

for the rest of my life anyway, so what's the difference if I get to

130 lbs. next year, the year after, or the year after that!!!

>

> I have always been totally against very rapid weight loss because I

know that if you lose weight too fast it will probably damage your

body in one way or another. And, unlike most people who are on

weight loss programs or who have been on weight loss programs in the

past, I am totally in favor of hitting weight loss plateaus. I

believe that weight loss plateaus are essential, as they serve as

methods the body uses to make sure that everything is working

properly in one's body before further weight loss is resumed.

Ah CC, I love the idea that my bones are getting dense...another reason not to

step on a scale!

Hi ,

I am so glad that you are starting to realize how inaccurate scales are, not to

mention how bad they are for a weight loser's mental health!!!

Love always,

Pat
