Guest guest
Hello Everybody, I consider myself a LifeLift newbie, but I must agree...the feeling is awesome. I especially love the Reflexology workout. I do this one every night before bedtime and I sleep soooo good! I also do the audio workout twice daily...to and from work. It really helps me to relax before and after a hard day of work. My only regret is that I didn't find out about LL sooner. I purchased Oxygen Zoo for my niece in LA...her mother says she gets a kick out of doing it everyday. Thanks for such wonderful programs. BTW, I'm saving my pennies for the exercise band workout. ;-) Sincerely, Pat Lusher <patlusher@...> wrote: Hi Rashelle and Everyone, Life Lift breathing makes me feel sooooooooooooo... good!!! Doing it is truly like a beautiful sping breeze wafting through my body!!! It is a wonderful...I don't know what to call the feeling that I get when I do Life Lift breathing!! I don't think that the feeling that Life Lift breathing gives me each time I do it is even able to be expressed in human language!!!!! I really can't believe this!!! I know I keep saying the same thing and don't want to sound like a broken record!! I hope that none of you mind the fact that I say this all the time and the fact that I send so many posts to the group about this same thing all the time!!! Guest guest
Hi Pat, Thank you so much for the warm welcome. It's nice to meet you, too. I live in North Central Texas...yep, I'm a Texan at heart...born and raised. I love the LL breathing, too. As I stated below, I'm saving my pennies to buy more workouts. I had purchased Oxygen Zoo for my niece, but now I'm thinking that I need my own copy (LOL). Sometimes when I'm here at work, I go into the stairwell to do a couple of LL breaths. I guess you can tell that I'm a fan. Well, I'd better get back to work. Until next time, take care. Pat Lusher <patlusher@...> wrote: Hi , Welcome to our Life Lift group!! Guest guest
Hi , You're so very welcome, my dear friend!! Well, there are two other Texans on our list who I love very much and who you will no doubt meet before too long!! Melinda and Gaylynn Baade. They are really nice, and you might even find that they live near you and that maybe you and they will be able to meet in person some day!! I know that Melinda has met our sweet Life Lift group member Clem and likes her even more than she did originally by email!!! You will met Karma Tucker, who is very sweet, and our very own sweet Liz, whose last name I do not know!!! And you will meet our sweet Laurie Delk and a lot of other wonderful women, too. So, we are all so very glad to have you in our group, !!! SO VERY GLAD!!! I own all of Rashelle's Life Lift videos and can't say that any one of them is better than any other one, because they are both so wonderful!!! I love to watch all of Rashelle's videos and to exercise along with her. I find myself doing a lot of the exercises on my own during the day, and that is so easy to do because a lot of the exercises can be done standing in one place!! You will see as soon as you start buying the videos how wonderful they all are. That is especially true since our dear, darling Rashelle is such a wonderful teacher and our very own Life Lift Mom!!!! Before I go, I am going to copy and paste my own schedule (which I had originally typed into another email for myself) and method of doing Life Lift breathing. I hope that this helps you, , and if you have any questions about the way I do LL, please do not hesitate to email me and to ask anything. Here is the way I do LL breathing: LIFE LIFT BREATHING TECHNIQUE DIRECTIONS AS MODIFIED BY PAT LUSHER: One Life Lift breath has 3 parts: 1. Blow as much air out of your mouth as possible. This is like blowing the candles out on a birthday cake. 2. Sniff as much air up your nose as possible, making sure that it goes up really high into your nasal passages. Hold the air up in your nasal passages to the count of 4. 3. Blow as much air out of your mouth as possible, ending in an audible PAH sound. THE METHOD OF DOING LIFE LIFT BREATHING THAT I HAVE DEVELOPED: You are supposed to do the above anywhere from 40 to 100 times a day for maximum results. I do 10 reps each time I go to the bathroom by counting the reps out on my fingers. I usually do them while I am sitting on the toilet. I either count to 5 twice using the fingers of one hand, or I count to 10 once using the fingers of both hands. If I go to the bathroom 8 times a day, then I do 80 Life Lift breaths that day. If I go to the bathroom 10 times a day, then on those days, I do 100 reps. See how easy this is Life Lift breathing is? If I can do this, you can do it!!! So, get going!!! This is a wonderfully effective weight loss method which I call COUCH POTATO WEIGHT LOSS!!!! I hope that Rashelle does not mind that I gave you my own instructions on how to do the LL breathing. I don't see why she should mind, since I am posting them on our Life Lift group list, but, if she does mind, then I am sure she will forgive me for anything I may have done wrong in giving them to you. Rashelle knows how much I love to help people learn how to do LL breathing!!!! So, the best of luck to you with Life Lift breathing, . I know that you will love it as much as I do!!! I have to go now, so please excuse me. Please have yourself a very nice weekend, O.K.? Love always, Pat Bedford wrote: > Hi Pat, > > Thank you so much for the warm welcome. Anyway, I hope that someday you will be able to get together with in person!!! Hey, , wouldn't you like to get together with Melinda some day? I love Melinda!! She has been so wonderfully sweet to me since I met her last February!!! She is great over the internet, so I can imagine HOW wonderful she must be in person!!! Guest guest
I love to do Life Lift breathing throughout the day and NOT just when I am in the bathroom. I do it a lot in our truck when my brother drives us somewhere and I have to sit in the truck and wait for him to do his shopping, or whatever, and then come back to me and resume driving our truck!!! I also love to do Life Lift breathing while I am walking!! It ii SOOOO much fun to lose weight the Life Lift way, isn't it????? Guest guest
Hi Melinda, It's nice to meet you. You live approximately 70+ miles from me. I'm in Big " D " . Occasionally, I drive to Ft. Worth on business. If I'm not mistaken, Granbury is only about 35 miles from there. I've heard a lot about Granbury, especially the town square. I lived in McKinney, TX for a few years and just loved the small town feel of it way back then. Of course, it has really grown over the years and has changed so much. I'm sure the air quality in Granbury is sooooo much better than Dallas. I really miss the fresh clean air. Sometimes when I'm here at work, I go into the stairwell to do a couple of LL breaths. I guess you can tell that I'm a fan. Well, I'd better get back to work. Until next time, take care. Guest guest
Hi , I also use other cardio workout tapes and have found that when I get winded, a few LL breaths will give me that second wind needed to finish the workout. Luckily for me, our stairwell at work is seldom used...otherwise, someone might think I'm hyperventilating (LOL). When I first began using LL in my car, I wondered how I looked to other people. I enjoy the exercise so much now, that I don't care what they think. I started off using Body Flex and my daughter would crack up laughing at me. I'm so, so happy that I ran across LL while browsing the net. The breathing is so much more gentle and relaxing. I love it. It's nice to meet you and hope to communicate with you and everyone in the group more in the future. Goodnight. Rettig <drettig@...> wrote: Hi The biggest thing have fun with LL. Guest guest
Pat, Thanks so much for all of the wonderful information in which you have provided. Hopefully, I'll get to know everyone here as time goes on. You all sound like a wonderful group of women. Also, I really appreciate you sharing your LL schedule with me. It lets me know that I haven't been breathing enough (LOL). I need to get busy and get with the program. I've been reading a book titled, Flip the Switch, by K. . It covers ways to increase your metabolism. One of the " on " switches for revving up the metabolism is breathing exercises. It confirms for me that I'm on the right path for weight loss. I will definitely begin working on increasing my breaths starting tomorrow. I'll keep you posted on my success. I'm so happy I found this group. Again, thanks for making me feel so welcome. Have a goodnight and I'll talk with you soon. Pat Lusher <patlusher@...> wrote: Hi , You're so very welcome, my dear friend!! Guest guest
Hi , You're so very welcome, my friend! We are indeed a really great crowd of women, and we are all pretty passionate about doing LL breathing!! I seem to be a self appointed cheerleader, anyway, that's what our wonderful LL Mom, Rashelle, calls me!!! I really and truly love to encourage everyone in the group to do as much LL breathing as they possibly can each day!! This method of weight loss/health improvement is THE best one I have EVER found in my entire 55 years of life, and I hope that you will come to agree with me, if you don't agree with me already!!! I hope that you make my LL schedule your own LL schedule. That's why I gave it to you, and through my message to you, to everyone else in our wonderful LL group!!! I won't be weighing myself until sometime in February 2007, as I only do it maybe once every 6 months. I was 200 lbs. when I started my LL program back in February, so by this next February, I hope that I will be at, or near, my weight goal of 130 lbs. You should see what my body looks like today!!! I am getting skinnier and skinnier and healthier and healthier by the day, and I am so happy about that. I am going to ask my brother to snap a picture of me next summer. By that time, I will have been on my LL program for about a year and a half. I will make sure that I send you a picture of me at that time along with a BEFORE picture to you at your personal email address, O.K.? Since you like to do LL breathing on your stairwell at work, you can do my routine of 10 reps per session there, too, as well as in the bathrooom whenever you go. Just remember to do 10 reps per session, and you will do fine!!! That's the number of reps I feel most comfortable doing at any one given time!!! The best of luck to you, , and I will certainly be praying for you and routing for your success!!! Love always, Pat Bedford wrote: > Pat, > > Thanks so much for all of the wonderful information in which you have provided. Hopefully, I'll get to know everyone here as time goes on. Guest guest
Hello , Welcome to LifeLift. I have been in and out of town and not on line as much as usual, but I had to pop in and say hello and welcome. Your messages are wonderful and you are a perfect addition to our beautiful LifeLift group. Welcome to all of our new LifeLifters. I have seen a lot of new people join in the past few weeks. Even though you don't write it is nice knowing you are there and I feel certain that all of this great enthusiasm coming through our list will inspire many of you to get busy and do some LifeLift breathing. , I am thrilled to hear that you are enjoying LifeLift so much and I think it is precious that you purchased OxygenZoo for your niece. What a sweet Aunt you are. You have given her a gift that will be of value for the rest of her life. She will be learning healthy habits that can change her life. So many people think OxygenZoo is just for overweight children, but in truth it is incredible for all children since it entertains them while it trains them in healthy habits that will set them on the right path to good health and it will help insure that they never have a weight problem if they are encouraged to do it regularly. What many don't realize is that you will only lose weight with LifeLift if you need to lose weight. The oxygen that LifeLift provides can help to adjust your body so it is functioning better, so if you need to lose weight you will, if you don't need to lose weight you just get healthier and stronger. One doctor pointed out that all children need to learn range of motion and ways to use their bodies so they increase strength, stamina and endurance as they grow. That is one of the many benefits of LifeLift. I have worked with professional athletes who have been amazed at the increase in their strength, stamina and flexibility after only a few sessions of LifeLift. , you are wonderful and I am so glad you are here with us. You will add so much to our group. Hello to all of my beautiful LifeLifters, Pat, Laurie, Melinda, , Wanda, Karma, everyone. I am going to my uncle's 90th birthday party today and it is quite a long drive so I don't have much time on line today. I miss all of you so I just had to take a minute to say hello. Karma and Laurie, thank you so much for helping our sweet Pat out with her question about the pretzel and the 5 Rites. I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate all of you when you take the time to help each other, especially when I am away. Guest guest
Hi Rashelle, I just thought of a question which was brought to my mind by the facts that your uncle is 90 years old today and also by the fact that NONE of us is getting younger!! The question is this: Could Life Lift breathing prevent and/or reverse Altzheimer's disease and all the other diseases and ravages of the aging process!!! Please answer this question for me and for everyone else, as I am sure that the rest of our Life Lift group would like to hear your answer to this very important question that I have just put to you!!! Thanks a lot, my dear friend!!! Love always, Pat Pat Lusher wrote: > Hi Rashelle, > > Please wish your 90 year old uncle a very happy birthday for me!!! Guest guest
Yes, I'm originally a Cowtown girl from North Fort Worth. I loved growing up in Fort Worth, but really enjoy living in Granbury. The town square is a lot of fun. We live in a gated community that is actually outside of Granbury proper, (Pecan Plantation) and we love it. We are the only home at the back of a court, so we have a lot of privacy. Honestly, it feels like we live in a park, it's so pretty here. We see lots of wildlife - - deer (we seem them every day), foxes, squirrels, skunks (yuk!), and racoons. We often hear coyotes howling across the river, too. It's nice. I love Dallas, too, but I agree, our air quality if probably better here. When I was working part-time in Cleburne several years ago, I would joke that the traffic jams were often having to wait for a herd of Holstein cows to saunter across the road. What a hoot, but true!!! LOL Melinda ) Re: Life Lift breathing makes me feel sooooooooooooooo... good!!!! Hi Pat, Thank you so much for the warm welcome. It's nice to meet you, too. Guest guest
Melinda, Your message made me LOL. I know exactly what you mean about the drive to Cleburne. A few years ago, I had to travel to Cleburne occassionally for my job. Once I would get out of Dallas, there was NO traffic...just a car every now and then. Now that's a change...more cows than cars (LOL). Have a happy Sunday! The Family <neilmeltx@...> wrote: Yes, I'm originally a Cowtown girl from North Fort Worth. Guest guest
Hi Rashelle, Thank you SO much for the warm welcome. It just amazes me how you respond to our messages...you are incredible. I appreciate all of the information I've received about LL. I started off LL breathing in hopes of losing weight, but now I mostly do it for the other benefits like feeling and sleeping better. I'm still hoping to lose weight, but I do understand it's a journey and won't happen overnight. I will take Pat's advice and get more breathes in daily. I've already lost 20 lbs. since May '06 with diet and exercise, but I would like to lose about 40 more lbs. I hope you all had a great time at your Uncle's birthday party yesterday. What a blessing to live such a long life. I hope the drive wasn't too bad. Thanks again for producing such wonderful products and for making a connection with us via our message group. Have a fantabulous day!!! Sincerely, Rashelle Haines <rashelle@...> wrote: Hello , Welcome to LifeLift. Be Healthy and take good care, Rashelle Harness the Powerful Benefits of Oxygen with LifeLift. Guest guest
Hi Pat, Wow...I am astonished at your results! Yes, please feel free to send your pics to me directly. I would love to see your transformation. You can email me directly at any time, for any reason. I will definitely use your LL schedule starting immediately. Thanks so much for your prayers and well wishes. I'll do the same for you. Okay, I have to run now but I'll check in with you soon. Have a great Sunday!!! Pat Lusher <patlusher@...> wrote: Hi , You're so very welcome, my friend! Guest guest
Hi If you are like me in terms of the way you will respond to LL breathing, you will find that those 40 lbs. you want to lose will come off your body faster than you think. I would say you might very well lose those 40 lbs. within the next year, and, as you know, a year is not a long time to wait!!! Just to give you an idea of how well LL breathing MIGHT work for you, 8 of the 10 inches in girth that I lost around my waist since I started my Life Lift program last February were off my body within TWO WEEKS of my starting my Life Lift program!!!!! So, don't be so sure that you will NOT lose the 40 lbs. that you want to lose OVERNIGHT!!! You might turn out to be pleasantly surprised!!!! So, , just make sure that you get 100 Life Lift breaths in each day in 10 sessions per day of 10 breaths each, and you will see miraculous changes in your body shape in very short order!!!! The best of luck to you once again, , my friend, and please be assured that I will be rooting for you!! Love always, Pat Bedford wrote: > Hi Rashelle, > > Thank you SO much for the warm welcome.
