Guest guest
Hi Wanda, You are so very welcome for MY comments and suggestions, Wanda. I think that you will find that after you have lost a significant amount of weight on Life Lift, you will be able to do all of the exercises we mentioned with more and more ease and effectiveness. And then, as you continue losing weight and dropping down to your ideal weight, whatever that may be, it will become even easier for you to exercise and flex your muscles while doing so. I have found that to be true in my own case so far. The more weight I lose, the easier it is for me to exercise in every aspect of that word and concept. So, what I would suggest to you now, is to concentrate on the actual Life Lift breathing and losing as much weight as you can by doing it WITHOUT exercising, and then add the exercises later on in your Life Lift program!!! Of course, I know that you have been on Life Lift for over 6 years, and that you probably feel that enough time has gone by, and that you can safely exercise now, but... I don't know, Wanda!!!! There are so many variables involved in all of this, that it is hard to say one way or the other what it would be best for you to do and what it would not be best for you to do!!! So, good luck to you, sweetheart!!!! That's all I can really say!!! Love always, Pat winwithlifelift wrote: >Thank you everyone for all your wonderful input. Guest guest
I know what you mean...I had several " rolls " over my knees when I first lost weight. It did go away with the exercises...it just took longer to tighten...remember it is working from the inside out! I would definitely wrap there. When I could afford the wraps I always did my legs....it helped a great deal! warmly Jenni
Guest guest
Hi Wanda, I have read what others are doing and so I'll share what I do. I do a few breaths to get my body reeved up and ready to go, then I sit in a chair and flutter kick in mid air. I flutter kick until my muscles fatige and let me know they've been worked. I find myself doing this in meetings (of course I make sure I have room and am not going to be kicking the tar out of the person across the table from me!) and while working at my desk. I have noticed that my thighs are hardening up as I want them to. If you don't know what a flutter kick is, let me know. It is a swimming term. :-) Karma Thigh Exercises Thank you everyone for all your wonderful input. Some of the exercises mention I do quite often. I'm sure it is due to my weight and size; but the area from right above the knee to mid thigh is just getting flabbier as I am losing weight. I need to find me some muscles in that area to develop better. : ) Also, I may incorporate the saran wrap in that area with my Body Wrap products. Hugs to all! Wanda. Guest guest
Hi Jenni, It's soooo great to see your name on our lists again. That is a great point about it working from the inside. Thank you for that. I use the Body Wrap products quite faithfully; but never wrap. My joke used to be I'd need to take stock in Saran Wrap with the amount I would need to use. : ) But I will start the saran wrap stuff on my thighs. I am so in love with these products. Hugs! Guest guest
Hi Pat, As always thank you for your insight and encouragement. : ) I feel better as I continue to build muscle while losing weight. It definately helps rev up my metabolism and that is a great thing considering how screwed up my metabolism is due to yoyo dieting. I'm going to have to put on my creative hat and come up with things to help the front of the upper thighs. The backs of my thighs really don't have fat nor cellulite. Strange how our bodies distribute the fat; that's for sure. Hope you enjoy your swing today Pat. We had like a monsoon type of storm this morning on my way home from work; I literally pulled over for about 45minutes in hopes that the storm would settle a bit. Love, Wanda. > > >Thank you everyone for all your wonderful input. Some of the > >exercises mention I do quite often. Guest guest
Hi Karma! Hope all is going well by you. If you could explain a flutter kick I'd surely appreciate because I could easily do these exercises while at work each night! So I'm getting ready to rev up! Love, Wanda. > > Hi Wanda, > I have read what others are doing and so I'll share what I do. Guest guest
Hi, Karma - I need to know what a flutter kick is . . . . Thanks, Melinda ) Thigh Exercises Thank you everyone for all your wonderful input. Wanda. Guest guest
Hi Karma, Thank you for explaining the flutter kick. It was perfect timing because my husband was sitting here when I read this and I asked him to help me try it; he was a swimmer back in the day too. : ) So we did it; and did it right and oh boy. I do have some muscle screaming to come out and be developed in my thighs. Glad all is well by you! Love, Wanda. > > Hi Wanda, > Yep, things are going great with me, thanks for hoping so. :-) > > Okay, flutter kicking is the kick a person does when swimming the American Crawl. Let's put it in perspective of sitting in a chair..... > > Sit in the chair, raise both legs parallel to the floor. Now with both legs straight and parallel to the floor raise the right one about two inches and lower the left one about two inches. Now switch and do the opposite so the lift one is getting raised and the right one is being lowered. Now do this quickly, up, down, up, down, up down. Or kick, kick, kick, as I used to say to my students as I was teaching them to swim and kick their way across the pool.
