Guest guest
Thank you for updating us on your condition, Virginia. I'm lifting up prayers now for your healing and for a peace that passes all understanding. Love to you, Melinda OT: health report Hello all, Just dropping in to report that I have come home from the hospital once again. This time I have lost 26 pounds of fluids in the last four days. I went in because I couldn't lay down and sitting up breathing was more than a struggle. Long story short I am now on oxygen 24/7/365. Also on diuretics to get this fluid off...Yeah!!! Update on the procedure I was to have in the beginning is the doctor has left the hospital and I don't know the end of that yet. Doctors concur I need to divorce my husband so I am entitled to get Medicaid to pay for a host of health issues. Envolves a trust that causes me to not qualify. My step-son and his wife came in to see some of her family and surprised me with a visit. Well, not just me but the family. I am able to breathe a little deeper now that some of the fluids are off. I can also lay down in bed and sleep but still need to use meds to breathe without plugging up. So, while I have been checking in and looking at some of the emails I have been out of the loop quite a bit. Happy Birthday to those who have had them :-) Just think another year older...:-} Remember when that used to be a badge of honor to wear??? Now it's a statement of strength of endurance. Take care and I'll be popping in and out from time to time depending on what all is going on. Guest guest
Thanks Melinda. That peace was really needed when the doctor suggested rather told me I had to make a choice of divorce or medical care. He just doesn't know that God can do what no one else can do and I have to wait and see it unfold. It looks pretty bleak but I heard someone say to quit telling God that you've got a big problem and tell your poblem what a big God you have. Guest guest
You are so right Rashelle. Karma came to see me in the hospital and brought with her. It was a nice visit. She was a little upset with me that I didn't call her to take me to the hospital in the first place. You know with four girls and a husband that has to travel from time to time that is a lot to ask of someone. As it was another friend and my husband set with me through the whole 5 hour process. Even then they didn't have things ready. I finally told them to go home because I was hoping they would both get a little sleep after keeping each other awake on the drive. Both did a day full of necessaries and Logan returned that evening. That was another 4 day hospital stay. My first one was for a week then a day then a day for transfusion then outpatient surgery and then this final 4 day event. I have more to come and wonder when it is all going to be over. I have been transfused with about 10 units of blood so far. Take care and I will try to keep everyone updated from time to time. Guest guest
Hi Virginia, I like that attitude about having a big God rather than a big problem. I am glad that you heard someone say that!!!
