Guest guest
I found the broth I was speaking of. Newsletter #19 in the archive; great article you may want to read; I'm only copying the actual recipe here; here is the link: http://www.lifelift.net/newsletters/19.shtml? Liver Cleansing Broth Coarsely chop and add to a soup pot: 4 carrots 1/2 bunch celery 2 potatoes with skins 1/2 head cabbage 1 large onion 1/2 bunch broccoli 2 Tbs. snipped dry sea greens 1 tsp. Miso soup (You can find both of these in your grocery store in the section where they sell Asian food.) Add 7 cups of water to cover veggies and simmer, covered, 30 minutes. Strain, discard solids and add miso. Refrigerate broth until ready. Makes 4 servings. How you will feel. You may experience headaches or fatigue at first, but these symptoms should disappear quite quickly as your liver detoxes Upon rising: 2 Tbs. freshly squeezed lemon juice mixed in 8 oz. of water. Breakfast: 12 oz. Liver cleansing broth, 2 cups leafy green salad drizzled with olive and vinegar. Morning snack: 1 Tbs. green superfood powder (such as spirulina, green kamut or chlorella) mixed with 8 oz. vegetable juice. Lunch: 8 oz. organic apple juice Afternoon snack: 2 cups green or peppermint tea. Dinner: 8 oz. fresh carrot juice or Liver cleansing broth, 2 cups leafy green salad, drizzled with olive oil and vinegar. Bedtime snack: 8-oz.pineapple or papaya juice, 1 tsp. Royal Jelly. Personal note: I just drank the soup and then also added milk thistle and dandelion root capsules as well as spirulina capsules. I used a green juice drink in place of one meal daily and added another glass of the green juice for another snack. I really felt a surge of energy right away and felt the difference immediately.
