Guest guest
Hi marylene, I mean to type " 10 YEAR experience " !! That's how long I was on the cortisone totally ignorant of the fact that steroids cause weight gain, and to an extreme degre, too. I have learned my lesson, I can tell you that for sure, and I certainly learned it the hard way. That all happened from approximately 1970 to 1980, but, I will tell you most assuredly that I WILL NEVER happen again, most especially now that I have Rashelle and her wonderful Life Lift program!!! Love always, Pat --- Re: Re: greer? (pat) Date: Sun, 26 Feb 2006 16:18:55 -0500 From: M. Lusher <patlusher@...> LifeLift References: <dtsugk+p9f0eGroups> Hi lene, I am glad that Karma answered my question about who Greer is, too. I am so glad that you like Rashelle's Life Lift program!! I know that it will help your metabolism speed up and that it will keep it speeded up. The reason that I have become well over 60 lbs. overweight decades ago had nothing to do with food, eating, calories, or fat grams. I will tell you what turned me into a fat tub of lard. It was the unfortunate 10 experience I had with steroids notably cortisone) that I was taking for the treatment of one of my many congenital eye problems (I am visually impaired to the point of legal blindness, although I am fortunate enough to be able to read regular print with a regular pair of prescription reading glasses.) The particular eye doctor who prescribed the cortisone for me neglected to tell me that cortisone, and, in fact, all steroids, can and more often than not, DOES cause MASSIVE weight gain. He had been my eye doctor for 30 years, but the last 10 of those years he put me through the worst weight gain nightmare imaginable without my knowledge. I am not supposed to be more than 135 lbs. according the the height/weight tables put out by the insurance companies/medical establishment, but I went up to a little over 200 lbs. WITH THE BLESSINGS OF A DOCTOR, no less!!! Well, I won't get into any more of that, as the retelling of the story always pisses me off anew, and I really want to let bygones be bygones, as they say. I really and truly do not want to live in the past. Anyway, after that experience, I bought subliminal weight loss cassettes and listened to them pretty much 24/7 for many years. I did other things later one, like the Temporal Tap, which really did a lot of wonderful things for my weight. The Temporal Tap is related to EFT (Emotional Freedom techniques, http://www.emofree.com) . Here is the link to the Temporal Tap information, if you would like to add it to your Life Lift breathing program: http://www.tapintoheaven.com/2stuff/stuftemtap.shtml The Temporal Tap is really easy to do. lene, and it will probably enhance the effects of the Life Lift breathing for you!! Here is a wonderful affirmation that I will construct right now for you. I have had a lot of experience constructing affirmations for myself, so I don't mind helping you with this. In fact, I consider it an honor to be able to do so. So, here is a good affirmation for you to use with the Temporal Tap: My metabolism works faster and faster every hour of every day. Or: My metabolism burns more calories and fat grams faster and faster each day. You can also do the Temporal Tap and use the Lift Lift breathing technique as your affirmation. In other words, you can do the Life Lift breathing while you tap INSTEAD of saying an affirmation. See how that goes. So, my dear friend, I hope that what I have told you in this reply and the links that I have given you will augment the benefits that you get from doing the Life Lift program!!! Please do let me know how things go for you, and thank you for your kind email. The best of luck to you!!!
