has butyrate enemas as part of it's recommended protocol for colitis. this

is something you can take orally: clostridium *butyricum*! free full text

link included! (i wonder if that's the same strain that causes botulism?

when i googled " Clostridium butyricum " i mostly got stuff about it causing

botulism, but i didn't see this specific strain mentioned).
