Guest guest
Brennan, It's so discouraging when things like that happen. I get bummed if I gain a pound and I know it's just water or something. Has anyone else had a great result from the Night Magic? I haven't ventured into any of the other products yet. Just the LL first tape. This is my second day doing the breathing and I have to say that I feel more energetic than usual. All these things take time and I just hate that too. Ah well, I will not give in. Guest guest
Hey Brennen! I think Bonnie had some really great observations/ideas about the whole inch-loss thing. I agree with her assessment that raw measurements don't tell the whole story. You and I did start with the products and LL about the same time...and while I think I've only lost about 1/2 inch on each thigh so far (nothing on the waist or hips...grr), I definitely see a difference in the amount of belly fat I have. While I don't really have a big protruding stomach, I have noticed in the past year that I have a layer of " pudge " that was never there before (sort of snuck up on me...@$(*!). Since starting the LL and using the seaweed soap and Night Magic, I don't see as much flab as before...skin is definitely firmer, too. I really think massaging with the seaweed soap helps a lot...I've been reading lately about how women have used seaweed for hundreds of years as a beauty aid, and I do think it works! I know there are lots of ladies here who do just LL and the pounds and inches come off, but at least for now (while I'm still in " reducing " mode) I'm finding the need to combine with other exercises. I know you've been doing Callanetics...me too, and I love it! It's definitely my favorite thing I do, next to LL...so once I'm at my goal, I'd like to do mainly LL and Callanetics, with other things (Pilates, Tae-Bo, etc.) thrown in just to keep me from getting bored (which I do all too easily...lol). OH...and the elliptical trainer is great (we have one here at my appt. complex gym). I used to run, but stopped for a variety of reasons...and I actually feel like I work harder on the elliptical than I did running (and without the stress on the knees). Anyhoo...sorry to go on and on! But I just wanted you to know that you are still on the right track, and you WILL get to where you want to be. I totally know how you feel, though...sometimes I feel like my body is just holding onto my fat for dear life! But I'm determined to keep going this time, and not stop short of the goal like I have in the past. Let's keep each other motivated...okay?? : ) Big hugs to you! : ) > Okay, ladies... > > I " tested " the night magic last night... took a > shower, washed with the green body wash and seaweed > soap, measured my lower abdomen and left thigh (my 2 > worst areas), applied the night magic, and wrapped > with saran wrap... left it on for 2 1/2 hours... > measured again, and then measured this morning... no > change... at all... then I checked my measurements > from when I first started LL, and the measurements are > UP! ** & %#@!!! Guest guest
You're totally welcome, Brennen...I'm always happy to offer encouragement, 'cause I need it, too! : ) We'll all get there if we just don't give up! : ) > > > Okay, ladies... > > > > > > I " tested " the night magic last night... took a > > > shower, washed with the green body wash and > > seaweed > > > soap, measured my lower abdomen and left thigh (my > > 2 > > > worst areas), applied the night magic, and wrapped > > > with saran wrap... left it on for 2 1/2 hours... > > > measured again, and then measured this morning... > > no > > > change... at all... then I checked my measurements > > > from when I first started LL, and the measurements > > are > > > UP! ** & %#@!!! Guest guest
Hi Connie, I started with the original video, to get the breath down good, and now I just do my LL in the car on the way to work, lunch, and home. Maybe I need to start doing an actual workout. I have the commuter CD, but my cd player in my car is (STILL) not working. Thanks for your support, as always. Guest guest
I've been reading all the posts but just have been preoccupied with real life lately... Everyone has given great advise and information!!! Aren't they wonderful! Brennen, I would recommend doing the workouts with the breaths.. Alone is fine, but adding the movements, IMO, and anyone feel free to correct me, the stretches, movements, whatever you want to call them, will help with inch lose by helping to get the oxygen to those areas... Like I said, I may be understanding this wrong, but that's the way I learned it years ago, when I first discovered aerobic breathing... Plus, just stretching will help limber you up and firm you up.. So add oxygen to that and...!!! Hugs, Kiki
